    Since we generaly suggest newer jumpers continue to use RSL's I think the Racer is a pretty poor suggestion for a first rig. IMO the Infinity by VSE is a great rig of course. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Its a swoop competition so they weren't out of line by saying that. I've said it many a time, when the swooping is out of control. We had an ambulance on stand by at the DZ when we had one.     I mean I see too many AFF instructors giving turn by turn commands to AFF students from the 1st jump through Cat's E, F, G.....etc. Studensts should be capable of landing with no assistance what so ever. I mean batteries fail, radios are left off, reception is spotty........ Too many are using them as a crutch. I tell each of my students I'll check in with them after I land, and then only give corrections if they are not flying their plan. I also try to get them to give up the radio by their 4th jump or so. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I started SCUBA about 2 years ago and it still scares me way more than skydiving ever did. I think it's because the dangers are not as visible. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
