    You're right. They should of immediately recalled all affected units and then return them when their repairs department can get them done. I'm sure current capacities wouldn't have them out of the customer's hands for more than 6 months to a year. How silly to create a work around solution so easy a baby could manage it, in order to keep units on people's backs for safety's sake, and have a plan to rectify the situation in a timely fashion.     I have seen it personally on one jump and have at least 3 more recountings of it's occurrence. I believe it is caused by instability causing uneven ruser/line group tension durring the trapdoor. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    The X210R was a diapered reserve. The problem is the jumpers and riggers that violate the TSO limitations. Riggers who stuff canopies into rigs that they are not sized for, changing loop lengths, and packing way to high pull forces. Jumpers who continually exceed speeds that TSOd components are certified for. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    +1 I've jumped just about every tandem main that's ever been used in a Sigma rig. Icarus of all sizes, Aerodyne, HOP, Sigma, etc..... I've enjoyed the smaller swoopy ones from a personal standpoint, but here's the deal..... IT'S NOT ABOUT ME. The safety of the student is paramount even if it's contrary to what they THINK they want.
