    Something to note, and something many jumpers don't realize, if an AAD is not functioning properly, and it's still packed in a rig, the rig is NOT airworthy. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    I have a serious bone to pick with that. It;s the newer camera flyers who have sold both the experienced flyers and themselves short. For 10 to 15 years camera flyers have been paid the same and rather than demand an increase for adding a piece of equipment that is 5 to 8 times more expensive at no cost to the DZ, they have just jumped in with both feet. I own digital still cameras. I have for more than 6 years. The day I put them on my helmet to shoot a standard tandem video is the day I get paid more for a standard tandem video. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     As soon as they have a 1080 progressive camera for 5 grand, that doesn't use pixel shifting or uprezzing to achieve it's claim, I'll jump right on the 1080 bandwagon with you.     True enough, but I think it adventageous to be able to isolate one setting for a new photog to learn some parameters of that setting. Just one goof-off's opinion.

    If it can do that much, sounds like it's time to bring back the remote view ring sights.

    Get away from the "auto" features. It will make you a better photog faster. I'd recommend starting with the "TV" setting and play with shutter speeds between 200 and 500 to begin with. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
