The funny thing I have flown in and out of ORD with gear numorous times with no major problems, just the normal what is this. I know quite a few people who have, it is BS that they never seen one before...year before last I think I went thru that airport myself at least 4-5 times. Also this is not the first time SDC has hosted Nationals and I dont remember it being that big of a problem when it was held there a few years back. The key will be to make sure that anything that we can do to make sure that all the TSA morons have a clue what a parachute really is. I am willing to bet that the turnover rate is HIGH with them and well...high turn over means clueless workers. Both airports (MDW and ORD) are going to see a large influx of rigs, and this will be a problem if they are not educated. See I hear people complain about sprint, I have had no major issues with them. None. There are a few areas that I may drop a call, but those same areas seems to get dropped by most carriers. This is classic!! I had a ceiling fan replaced (warranty) at my condo. Now normally I would have done it myself but this was covered, so I decided to let them do it (first mistake) anyway, after going thru hoops the electrician and the fan both make it to my place yesterday. I had installed a fan earlier this year myself with a remote in the dining room. So I decided while they were doing this one to see if they would install the remote if I bought it. They did no problem. The problem comes in after he is done installing, big dummy here (that would be me) didn't change the dip switches on the remote and receiver to a different code. So now both fans are set with the factory default one remote, works both fans...ALL THE TIME Which is ok till one is on and one is off and you want them both off! I spent 5 min at one point last night trying to get both lights off Im gonna have to pull one of them back down and change the dip switches, which would be easy if I didnt have vaulted ceilings ....but damnit I couldn't help but laugh at myself last night. Seven others were wounded in the attack. "It seems as though he wanted to attack young female victims, and this is close to his residence, that's the only reason we can figure that he went to the school," said Comm. Jeffrey Miller, Pennsylvania State Police. The shooting took place at Wolf Rock School in Paradise, a school run by the Amish community with about 27 students in grades 1 through 8. One of the children died in the arms of a trooper, Miller said. The gunman, Charles Carl Roberts IV, 32, was a truck driver, said Miller. He was not Amish. He had three children, and left several notes for his family "along the lines of suicide notes," Miller said. Police said he had barricaded himself in the schoolhouse two-by-four and two-by-six pieces of lumber. Fifteen male students between the ages of six and 13 were released from the school, Miller said.
