I wish I could take a full week off. It really is not an option. Went to ortho doc last night and it seems there is a tear in my left knee, medial meniscus. I am going for an MRI tonight to confirm. How fast were people back to work after a repair? Assume a desk job with only a small amount of walking. Recovery back to full strength? Any other input? I am so pissed, but so very glad that this is all it probably is! woohoo. Depends on the time of year. No you wont be doing 80 mph on it, and if you are driving a 4 cylinder you might be lucky to get the thing to go 60 on a straight away anywhere up in the mountains at altitude There are a few turns, but its not horribly dangerous if you don't drive like an idiot ;). It will take more time to get through as there are lots of S curves, that and you might want to stop to enjoy the view... Winter, thats a whole other story. Though to an extent I agree with you, I think the problem is going to come from the other subordinates getting pushed aside because she is playing favorites with him. From what I see of her, if he were to dump her she would end up doing something stupid to get herself in trouble anyway. I see WAY too much immaturity in her. You make two very valid points I agree with here. I wouldn't really mind so much if I didn't see her giving him a large portion of the incoming business. There is a decent amount of favoritism going on here. What the other employees are saying I don't know. What I do know is what I see from a professional standpoint. My though is if there wasn't a problem with it then they wouldn't be sneaking around. Nor would there be a problem if there was no favoritism. I have invested a bit of money with this company, I like the rep I deal with (him) really don't want to see anything bad happen to him being stupid. Really don't want to have to get a new rep to deal with either! First, no its not me. I would never go there and if it seemed eminent I would switch jobs or something to stop it from being. I know there are some exceptions to the rule but here is the scenerio: It is a medium sized company, he is dating his direct boss. It is obvious they are trying to keep it quiet but it isn't happening cause I can see it plain as day, the sneaking around etc. I also notice that the bigger manager seems to have a clue too. The biggest problem of all, I clearly see favoritism. I find this a professional issue, I clearly see a lack of maturity on her part. But I just cant help thinking he is a moron for going along with it too! What is everyone's opinion on this? My brother has told that joke 10 times...it is still funny everytime he does LOL.... The most recent time was last night in he car on the way to my nephews graduation. My sister in law was driving...they were bickering back and forth and out of the blue he tells our dad that joke...we busted up laughing. So asked him where that came from...his response.. I will say I did have the honor of making it to a Hawks - Wings Playoff game at the United Center when it went into triple OT years back. Freaking awesome game, fights fights and more fights. Eddie Belfour was in the goal then, the goalies even got in on a one of them!!! I have to say though that the United Center is NOWHERE as loud as the old Chicago Stadium was...WOW. I was lucky enough to have been to games there and the noise, the crowd and the acoustics in that place were AMAZING!! The upper level seats were scary, you tripped you might end up on the ice LOL. Steep as all get out! But one hell of a great place to watch a hockey game....
