Well...after having talked to the Doc on Monday...It looks like infact I do need to have shoulder surgery Things are pretty much set that May 20th I will be going under the knife to repair the damage to my shoulder. They will be repairing both a torn Rotator cuff and a torn labrum. Big picture on this is yes I could leave it be...and it would be ok for someone with a basic life. However that is not what I want. I want to be able to climb, I want to be able to skydive and everything else. I do not want to walk around with parts of my shoulder torn. So of course I opted to take the surgery route, be down for the next 6 months while it heals knowing that in the long run...the big picture if you will...my shoulder will not be damaged anymore. My season is pretty much gone now. But I will be back in the air as soon as I can be. That there is a promise! Bo you would be suprized at how many people actually do get in doing a walk in. When I took the course a few years back I had put in my application the day reg started in feb or march (cant remember which month it was) and I ended up with class being the end of July. They fill quick. I would try at least one or two weekends to see if you can get in. It is worth the attempt...just my .02 anyway. I actually was on a southwest flight coming home from florida couple weeks ago...and had something very very similar to this...the whole plane was in tears laughing!!!!!
