I went to see Warren Millers new Movie, Higher Ground. And well as always the ski footage rocked...big time. But what made me even more hyped is the kick as base and wingsuit footage. Big ass kudos to the guys at Warren Miller productions! They also put together a special DVD they gave away at the after party. It was an all access type thing, showing the making of. They did a good job documenting there how hard it is to plan for this stuff. Well I went to see the flick here in chicago....I was pretty impressed! But what was better, they did an all access DVD that they gave out at the after party. The DVD was a behind the scenes deal. It showed how much of a pain it really is to do those kinds of things, and well...hade a hell of a lot of cool footage! They did a few segments of both Wingsuit and Base.

Hey at least you are honest with yourself I had my knee done 12+ years ago. It was a biatch (though easier then my shoulder I had done this may) but it was worth it. My knee is much much much better, and it has been 12 years now, and I ski and everything else with little problems. Just do what the doc and PT people tell you. Also Yard...hit it right on the head. Go to a sports med specific doc and PT. Make it very clear the demands you put on yourself. If they get all up in arms...move on to someone else. My knee was done in Vail, CO as I was living in summit county at the time. Doc kicked ass...kicked my ass too. I thank him for that. I was in PT the very next morning....would have been that night, but got sick from the knock out drugs . Anyway, dont fuck around when it comes to docs and surgens on this stuff. I thank god I didnt....

There have been a few threads on ACL and such on here. My guess, if it is an ACL reconstruction I would say 4 months But it depends on exactly what they have to do. It does matter, you risk doing further damage which could infact tear more shit, or make things much harder to fix. I had my ACL done, granted it was 12 years ago. Technology has gotten a lil bit better, but it still is a long as process. This would be between you and your doc. If you dont like his attitude then find another one, and specifically an orthopod. At least with scuba, when you run out of air, you can go back up and get more. I don't think that the sports are related. They are fun in distinct ways. Actually that is not true. With scuba you have an ascent rate you need to adhear too...otherwise you can end up with the bends, and well...if bad enough die. Maybe costs Aircraft....you cant get 4 C130's in the states...and well....20 otters is gonna be kind of rough to get together too Aircraft....you cant get 4 C130's in the states?? they said Don coudn't get FAA to let us Jmp 727 don't see why couldn't get 4 C-130 together seems it'd be lot easier than getting FAA to allow 727 jet jump... They are military aircraft....no civi's in military aircraft. Thai goverment had no problem with it. Im sure there is some sort of price involved. But I am also sure that with the way the good ole USA is, the liability scared away any of the Civilian aircraft owners.
