400+ jumps...I think maybe 10 of them were with my glasses...the rest with contacts. Never lost a contact....even when I had my helmet blow off at 9000' I am in the same boat as HeatherB...I have toric lenses. I pretty much wear a full face helmet most of the time, the occasional FF jump I would wear open face with goggles, nothing fancy. Never had a problem there either. I was bored and did a search for my name on google. Now I had known part of this...just didnt know that it was this good... Some of you know that I used to show my Shiba Inu Nikki in agility...well I knew that I was breaking ground with the breed...but didnt realize that I broke that much ground. I was the 22nd handler in the US to take a Shiba to the Novice Agility title, and the 17th Handler to take a Shiba to the Novice Jumpers with Weaves title in the US! Wow...that was cool to find!!! She would have gone on to her Mach if I didnt have to retire her due to hip problems. I have a rescue siberian husky.... Wonderful temperment, dumb as a brick, lovable as all hell. However, they run, jump and go where they please. Difficult as an offlead dog, and most can and will clear a 4' chain link fence like it is a crack in the sidewalk. They require definate dominance, they are not a lab or golden, they need structure. Mine is fantastic with kids, other dogs, and any human or dog really in general. Nut shell..leash or a 6' fence, and that might not stop them if they want to get out. They do have some what of a high activity level, so having time to run around is good for them. They do have the ability to turn, but so can chows...so nothing new for you there. I love mine dearly, he is a great dog and I scored with him! Thank god his old owners didnt want him anymore. He kept running away, and they got sick of chasing him. I have not lost him for more then a couple min, as he always comes back to me when called (very odd for the breed, but then again I did do agility training with him.)
