When did that ever slow down a woman? I figure she was looking for more shoes. In Davy Jones's Locker?

All you had to do was ask. -
Yes, here it is. I guess size does matter. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=4051447;page=2;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25;#4062284

Wearing Vibram Five Fingers while Skydiving?
david3 replied to hokierower's topic in Gear and Rigging
I have jumped in sandals (Tevas) and Chucks. Not anymore. I have not worn the VFFs but they don’t appear to offer much cushion in the sole (the point of the design I believe). I prefer something that will offer more protection. You never know when you will stomp out a landing, have to plf, stub your toe or have any other number of surprises when you land. It may make the differences between an “ouch” and a trip to the hospital. . -
Congratulations! Make sure you update your Rigging Qualifications in your profile. .

Yes many people go to the DZ when they don’t plan to jump. Nobody will think it is odd. As a student there is a lot that can be learned that way. Watching people pack, learning to pack yourself, just becoming more familiar with the gear. Ask your instructors if they mind you shadowing them while they work with other students. Watching instructors talk a student down over the radio and give a debrief can be helpful. Some of the other students I met when I was learning have become lifelong friends. (Others, not so much)

SCOTUS Allows Westboro Church to Protest Funerals

Hopefully that buffer will be enough. I’m afraid it won’t be. I fear Albert Snyder may be right when he says “someone is going to get hurt”. -

Lot of the evils in the name of God were committed with guns. Why is it that you have a problem with the God part, but not a problem with the guns part? I have no problem with people having murderous tendencies. I just prefer they use a nerf ball in stead of a gun. Having such a negative attitude about religion just hinders good people, doing good things in the name of God. Why are you against good people doing good things? Faith and God can be good. Organized religion is often bad. . -
I understand your frustration. Vent all you want. Sometimes you do just want to yell out to your community. Sometimes you just need a sympathetic ear. It is a shame some decided to tell you your frustration is unwarranted and somehow make it about them. Hang tough. Things will get better.

You do know at least one person who hates men and wants female supremacy. But then I've never considered myself a feminist. I like women on top but don't consider myself a feminist.

Why is it so difficult to find love nowadays?
david3 replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in The Bonfire
Both people in this equation may have changed not just the single mom. Maybe the guy that always had the crush is more desirable now for reasons other than his education, job/income potential. Maybe he was a tool in high school and has now matured and gained some confidence. -

Actually, for women, it does make you damaged goods. The more sexual partners a woman has the less able she is to commit to another man and form a bond with him. Here is a nice picture to illustrate that. I am curious. You seem to have all this information and statistics at your fingertips. Is it something you study or are you just finding it on the internet when needed? You seem very angry with women. Did you have a catastrophic incident with a woman in your life? You don’t have to answer. I am just trying to figure out what angle you are coming from. -
I actually really love this quote I think it is a quote by banesanura. It's been around for decades. So has banesanura. I know it has been around John, it was a joke. Did you miss the ?

Ok - so let me get this straight. The bison felt well enough to outrun a Grizzly Bear, after being burned and outrunning a Forest Fire . . . yeah - so by all means lets see if he can out run a bullet. WTF? Didn't the bison earn a commuted sentence? Did he not fight hard enough for his life? Did the Park Rangers feel irony was more important? I can't believe this. Why didn't they try to HELP the bison, instead of ending it? Did you miss the point made by warpedskydiver about a BBQ party? If by the next day it was unable to get up and dying an agonizing death maybe they were being kind. The story doesn’t give us enough information.
