Well, I did the editing ( I am sure of this part ) AND Deuce did the AWESOME camera work for only having a dozen video jumps, and I think I am the one that uploaded it to the FTP site way back in september. I am not sure why someone would upload it again. It is currently in the /Public/RW folder....not that any of those dives would be considered RW dives Any chance we can have a dz.com category, or what about a ZOO category - that video would be perfect for that directory..hehe Butthead: Whoa! I have to disagree with you... I am only speaking for myself, but this event is strictly a dz.com event for me and several other people I have spoken to. Even though there will be several jumpers from my area, I will still be part of most of the group jumps - or at least I hope to be. Look what happened at Perris earlier this year. True, the record attempt was weak at best, but the group jumps we did KICKED ASS!! I think most of the dz.commers hung out most of the time unless people were involved in their specific training or whatever. This is what is most exciting for me - hanging out with many people from dz.com and having a good time. I can hang around with peeps from my area anytime, but this event happens just once a year. Yup, but I'm not comfortable with it. I'll stick with what I know works for me - velcro toggles - and chance having to replace my lower steering lines a bit sooner. So would one of you care to explain what this method is ? I have velcro-less toggles and my excess is just stowed next to the risers under the riser covers. Lisa knows what I am referring to, we both have infinities. Is there a way to stow that extra line ? I have seen some people insert the extra line into the grommeted "hole" in the toggle and then just leave it there. Sorry to tangent on this thread, but this does interest me a bit.... OK, so did anyone jump this weekend? So far the numbers have been 0. Mine are 3:0:0 The first number I should not have to or will explain. The second is because of this damn weather us NorCal people are enduring. It's supposed to last another week and that means no jumping out here. I can totally relate. I just picked up my new rig from the dz today with a fresh repack and all the trimmings. She is a virgin and has never been jumped. I planned on jumping this weekend or this week, but it looks like it is going to rain all week. So.... Actually Seb, I promised Clay @ Byron my next repack cause he did some work for me no charge on my Eclipse. But I am sure that once HWY 101 gets completed, I will be seeing a lot more of Brad....and YOU!!! And Deuce, I was planning on coming out tomorrow to get it put together and maybe jump it, but I forgot that I have a final interview at 2PM tomorrow. So it looks like I will be coming out on Thusday instead. I did mention that I will probably employed by this company come January 2, 2003, right ?? It looks like Rain this weekend, and I am busy on Satuday all day anyway. I might be out Sunday if it clears up, and then plan on going snowboarding with all the new freshies that will hopefully be deposited this weekend !! And SkyGod777.... I am hoping that it's custom and there is no other Infinity out there that is exactly the same size... But it will hold a Spectre 190/ PD 193r very nicely. I completely agree. My second canopy that I bought was a Spectre 190. I got it when I had about 40 jumps and still continue to jump it to this day (101 jumps) and have NO plans on downsizing anytime soon. You definitely want to get something that you enjoy and the spectre aint' gonna do you wrong with your low jump numbers and low wing loading. It is very forgiving and I still have not flown it to it's maximum potential yet. Just don't pull a Deuce and you should be fine. OT: BTW, Bytch, my Infinity will be here next Tuesday or Wed...WOO!!
