______________________________ Isn't 'whiskey' an 'expected' on expense reports? Chuck

No such thing as a stupid question. Especially when it comes to your life. Chuck

Buying a saddle, is not easy. Basically, throw 'price', out the window. Get a good saddle that fits your horse. If, the 'bars' don't fit the horse properly, he's going to get sores and probably buck you off his back. Secondly, it has to fit you, also. Since you are going into mostly trail riding, check-out some of the Circle-Y brand trail saddles. Talk with a good, reputable dealer. They can really help you. Talk with experienced cowboys or other riders. Don't be afraid to let them know you are new to horses. You're on your way to a lot of enjoyment. One piece of advice I'll give, for the heck of it. Get to know your horse and let him get to know you and groundwork... lots of it! Horses are an every day thing. You can't leave one at a stable for six-months then expect him to perform like Trigger the next time you see him. Good luck to you! I wanted to mention also; You will hear as many different answers to your questions as there are breeds of horse. There are tried and true methods. Check-out Monty Roberts or Craig Cameron (trainers) they are on the web. Chuck

__________________________________ Which reminds me of an incident we had here, several years ago. Seems as though, a local Deputy Sheriff, took his wife to the shooting range with him... after hours! In his report to the police, he stated he was shooting at some steel targets when one bullet, ricoched, striking his wife in the head. Thus, leading to her sudden demise. No charges filed! I resent that. Who are they to presume that I eat together with a group? This Big Ugly Fat Fucker can eat alone just fine. Richards _____________________________________ Chuck

___________________________________ Hmmmm... I've been in both, Detroit and Tijuana. I think I prefer... neither! Just too many people! Chuck Hey. I like TJ. Where can you get a BJ while eating a taco while getting a massage and your shoes shined and having a drink. ALL at the same time. For cheap too!

_________________________________ I think, TJ would be a 'walk in the park' compared to Nuevo Laredo! I have no idea, how many police chiefs that town has had in the past year. I think, the life expectancy of a police chief there, is about... 30-minutes! Chuck I haven't been to Nuevo Laredo, but I hear it's not nice. Here in TJ we have had about 270 violent deaths this year. That is 1 daily violent death, including governmental officials, police officers/investigators, D.A.s, criminals, etc. The number of kidnappings is undetermined but the last report I read was that Mexico had surpassed Colombia... and I am not kidding! ___________________________________ Oh, I believe you! I think, Nuevo Laredo, has that many killings in a week! Police, newspaper people, anyone involved in drug trafficking... you name it. Newspaper offices have been shot-up as well as a radio station. It's a real mess. Chuck

What did that say again... I couldnt quite make it out. Shoulda stopped when you only needed glasses, huh? ________________________________ Or a 5-O'clock shadow on your palms! Chuck

___________________________________________ In the Deep South, you've got the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightening and the Atlanta Thrashers. A bit North, you have the Carolina Hurricanes and the Nashville Predators. With all the 'snow-birds', the Southern teams get a lot of support. Chuck -
A proud moment, for sure! That's just too cool. Chuck

They use a padding on the leg-straps that is just too comfy. If I recall, it's a high density foam padding. Super comffortible rigs. Chuck

Dude screw Norton and McAfee...go down load Zone Alarm for free, and AVG from Grisoft for free. www.zonelabs.com www.grisoft.com Zone Alarm is a solid SW based firewall (if you want hardware, buy a router). AVG is a basic anti-virus tool. The best thing about them is they take up very little overhead from the OS. Norton is a resource hog. _________________________________ We had Norton's and it was a pain in the butt! Any time, we had a problem and called their number it was out-sourced to India and it was just an ugly experience! We have AVG and so far, so good... especially the price! All this talk about it here, will probably cause them to start charging! Chuck

Just because you know of an exception doesn't make the example invalid. ________________________________ Yup! Take my wife... Please! Oh, wrong forum! When my wife was in the DPS Academy, she was paired-up in the boxing ring with a guy 6'3" and about 210. One punch was thrown... hers. An upper-cut. She got patrol... he got DMV. She's 5'2". That' because of 'training'. Not all women are like that and are bigger. Chuck

Yeah... Unfortunately, all too many people don't realize it's only a restraining order, not a friggin magic spell.... _________________________________ ...and they gotta see the blood and guts before they'll do anything about that restraining order! Chuck
