Having attended AA meetings, I found that their program works. They helped me and I've seen the good they've done for others. There are some incredibly wonderful people involved in AA and they are truly, there to help. I've been 'sober' 11-yrs this month. I'm a big believer in their 12-step program. It's a selfish program in that you don't quit drinking for your mom or a loved one, you do it for yourself. You have to want to quit and they are there to help. Chuck

snort. This is hardly accurate. History is written by the winners. Had Germany won, the Holocaust would be a minor topic, like the decline of the American Indians and the death of the Armenians at the turn of the 20th century. Japan lost WWII, but have been winners since and see how they have handled certain aspects of that war in their history books. ____________________________ I didn't say that politicians wrote history only that they want to change it so as not to step on anyone's toes. Just more 'politically correct' bull-shit. Whoever came up with 'politically correct' needs a swift kick in the ass. History is history. What happened, happened and no politician can change that. As someone here said earlier... maybe, something can be learned from it all and see that it never happens again. Denying history and pretending it never happened or hiding it doesn't cut it. Chuck -

Besides, what's the difference if Christ is in the form of chocolate, a smudge on the wall of an overpass or on a tortilla? I saw the chocolate Jesus on the news and it looked a whole bunch better than some of the down-right shit that some folks call art. I think, with all the Catholic Church has been through in recent years, they might be a bit gun-shy. The artist in this case has his rights and freedoms as well as someone who takes a wad of baling wire and calls it art. By the way... is it light or dark chocolate? I couldn't really tell. Chuck
