I would suggest, getting with a rigger with 'round' experience. Videoes aren't always the answer. Chuck

Now that's what I call an instructional video. Bless you, for supplying that. Chuck

That's actually quite a good depiction of packing a round for something that came out of Hollywood. Now that brings back memories. I'd almost forgotten the part where you walk ON the canopy and then hop-scotch back to the risers to do the line check. I was never taught that part. It does look sooo much better when she does it. I agree! Too many parents are scared to death to tell their kids one little word... NO! Chuck That is because parents are too busy trying to keep the score and competition away from their fragile little minds. This pretty much sums it up for me. The patient is what is so wrong in this country. That commercial is the best!!! We need more 'gunnies'! Chuck

BUT on the other hand I guess you are good with supporting the hundreds of thousands that cost us billions of dollars to house them in prisons for low level drug users who were never violent offenders before they were sent to prison to learn how to be violent thugs. sems ya both went a little over the top...By the time someone gets a prison sentence, they were far from a recreational user...they were dealing big time! legal or not, Welfare will be paying for dopers to keep their habit! It all depends on the jurisdiction. There are a hell of a lot of people in our prisons all across the country based on laws pertaining to the "War on Drugs" and the absurd amounts of money handed out to law enforcement to stem all those evildoers. For what it's worth, we need to either really amp-up the 'war on drugs', I mean get serious about it or just legalize all the illegal drugs. The way our government is going about it now, comes across more like the Keystone Cops. It's a sad joke! Chuck

...and the phone calls between 6PMand 9PM. When you answered the phone, there was a long pause then a recorded message or some pollster! You bet! Thank goodness it's over! Chuck

Out here, where I live, that 'Trans Texas Corridor' or 'La Entrada Al Pacifico' is a real 'hot button' issue. What really got me was, while all the meetings and studies were being done, work continued on the roadway. Up until the big recession, the plan was for thousands of Mexican trucks were to pass through small West Texas towns loaded-down with 'fineries from the Orient' to stock the shelves of Wal-Mart and the countless 'Dollar Stores'. There were a couple bought-off congressmen and one or two senators involved in 'pushing' the roadway through. I can't believe, like you, our bought-off governor won this election. Now, it'll be more of the same. The one commercial Bill White ran was true... our governor is in it for himself! Chuck

Tell me again why alcohol should be legal and pot shouldn't be.

In 1975, I took 2nd place in the schools spelling bee. I dropped a hit of white blotter that morning, not realizing it was the day of the spelling bee. Had I won, I would had gone on to compete in the district spelling bee for Hazelwood Central High School. Only a few people knew I was tripping hard. I was extremely focused on what I was doing and completely in control. Millions of people have used LSD at one time in their lives and they are no worst for doing so. Francis Crick discovered the DNA Helix while tripping on LSD. If you have never tried LSD, you cannot reasonably argue it's effect on a persons intelligence. Although, I have not done acid since the 70's, I can argue that having done so has never had any negative effect on my intelligence. Straight "A" student in high school. Recently graduated from a community college Phi Theta Kappa. I never said one word about the intelligence of anyone taking acid. In one post, I did mention a girl friend of mine, an honor student at the time, took a header out a second floor dorm window, after taking acid. Chuck -

Uh, he pitched a no-hitter. Sounds like an excellent recommendation. That's what he says! I'm not believing it. For him to say that, really sends a bad message. It's like the ol' boy told the police officer when he was stopped for possible, 'drunk driving'; "I drive my best when I've had a 6-pack!" OK, I did a quick Google search for "doc ellis LSD no hitter". 407,000 hits. Sift through them for yourself. http://www.google.com/#hl=en&&sa=X&ei=NabQTM66I8Wblgfvp-iCBg&ved=0CBIQBSgA&q=dock+ellis+lsd+no+hitter&spell=1&fp=2304850557947867 Just because it's on the internet... Must've been som weak shit. I've been around people on acid and most of them couldn't find their ass with both hands. Chuck -

I wonder what that ball looked like him as it was headed toward the batter? I wouldn't say that that is a very good recommendation for acid. Chuck -
