  1. I thought you were previously sniffing around Dsquared, What happened there? He never stood a chance
  2. The fact that you are pathetic enough to make an online pool asking other to make her decision for her? fail. +427 HEY Who's side are you on?!?!? I'm not sure. Probably eeneR's.

  4. Absolutely the right thing to do. With our first child we went to 4-5 different orthos for initial consults. We picked the one who's approach and judgement seemed the soundest to us and also used him for our next 3 kids. Although he sold his practice to a young new doctor, the great customer service and judgement continued with the new doctor. He picked his replacement well. We've recommended this ortho to several friends. I'm glad to hear you went to 4-5. I was starting to feel like I was crazy for wanting multiple opinions. The approach recommended by this first one seems overly aggressive and possibly not even necessary since we are still looking at mostly baby teeth. If she really needs the braces now then I'll do it but I'm not convinced this is the right plan. I'll definitely get a couple more opinions first. Hi Sandi
  5. Thanks for sharing! I love IMG3220. For some reason, the round canopies are really reminding me of jellyfish right now.
  6. When are y'all thinking about going to Thailand? I'm planning on making a trip there sometime in the next two years. I'd love to meet the lovely Mitchells
  7. This will likely be my child. Had I had the opportunity, I would've totally done the same thing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Nn0UkdDArM&feature=youtu.be
  8. Hoping to be Robbed are ya? Forewarning: Brace yourself! if its good, i hope i have to This is where the whole "quality vs. quantity" debate comes into play. as long as he gets it right the first time, once is all you need eta ..... all you need a day... no wait.... every 12 hours.... wait once is all you need every couple of hours. no wait.... ok maybe more than once.... twice is all you need Um...not the kind of quantity I was referring to, but don't worry you won't be complaining...well, not until you want to sit down anyway.
  9. I think we all want a little piece of typicalfish. I've never seen him post since I joined the site though
  10. if youre doing top rope climbing, or a rappel, theres no use for that. personally id MUCH rather use tandem prusik cords over a gri gri ANY day. for one, its much easier on the rope. . . the grigri is PERFECT for top-rope, same goes for rappelling. you dont think that a rope sliding over smoothly machined alloy treats it better than the friction caused by another rope, then fine, your argument is valid.. They seriously need an FJC for climbing. I have so much to learn. from the top of my head, i could point you to two schools doing exactly that. climbing without taking a course, pretty much as in skydiving, is a pretty stupid idea.. By all means, please list them.

  12. Korea... Sucks. I was in Korea from 2001-2002. I did the same thing but I took mid tour and went to Australia and jumped. when I came back i continued skydiving. Skydiving doesn't have to be an every day thing. you can come back to it when you have the location...however I think you should spend $75 for one jump and put Korea in your logbook. Enjoy Korea while you're there. Go snow boarding. IIRC you're there with your husband who is in the military. the further you get from base the nicer the people are. go take some trips. All of our gear is in Florida, so no jumping most likely, but that's okay
  13. No. Not that kind of rock climbing.
  14. I thought you were married now? Yeah, I'm allowed to kneel on a pillow. Aren't you?
  15. I did that shit ALL the time in the barracks at Ft Campbell, (mind you, this was up until last December that I had to do it.) They regulate by month (not temp) when the ac/heat is on. We had shared thermostats, I would just turn mine off, and open the window. If it was cold, I would turn my TV and computer on for a little while. Them plasma TV's sure do put some heat out! Except of course when you end up fighting with your roommate over the temperature and someone steals the knob....
  16. I've had a few people tell me that actually
  17. Because I'm not willing to spend $75/jump for the next two years Did I mention said jump only goes to about 9000 ft? And that the only DZ around is open maybe twice a month? I'd replace where you live rather than replacing skydiving Brilliant idea. Minus the lack of skydiving, I love it here.

If your G.I. or related do they have jump clubs useing chopper's?. You can buy a lot of rotten cabbage for $75. OTOH the knee thing I guess back in the 90s, they had clubs here, but not anymore. It's lame. Oh well, they sky will still be there in a couple years. I hope.

  20. I have two: an awesome pink protec that no longer fits (i chopped off all my hair and it was suddenly too big ), and a Z1. Yesterday, I bought a rock climbing helmet. We were in a bit of a rush so I grabbed the first one that fit. Turned out to be a $100 helmet. I mumbled and grumbled about it. But then I got about 100m from the store and realized that I spent over $300 on my Z1, put 15 jumps on it before we moved, and now it won't see the sky again for at least two more years
  21. Rock climbing. The great thing is people can actually hear me cuss, unlike when I'm in the door, going "WTF am I thinking, why am I doing this, fuck, shit, monkey, balls, fuck!" Oh, and now I have an excuse for having blow job knees
  22. I learned something here: Buying a generator prevents power outages.
