Well I haven't logged all my stuff recently with GPS, etc.. it's been a few years since I had my numbers and I was wanting to be able to say what the suits are capable of, not specifically what i've done.

I'm expecting to be doing a media jump in the near future and was curious what the generally accepted answers for the following questions are : 1) Glide ratio (bad, average, and good) 2) Forward speed (range) 3) Vertical Descent (range) 4) Average distance covered from 14K feet 5) Distance covered in a track (no wingsuit) from 14K feet any other "ooo-aaa" statistics you can think of.

I'm doing a media jump out of a balloon and flying past another one in freefall... we've pushed it back 2 weekends now due to the lovely weather we have here. Hopefully the 3rd is a charm.

I was amazed of the live coverage on this jump.. the video came in pretty much crystal clear (there were times of some snow and static but not much) and his audio during freefall was perfect. I'm really wanting to know the technical aspects behind making all of that work (the equipment used, etc) his camera guy in freefall was streaming video as well

Jeb was on the Today show today talking about doing his no chute landing.. evidentially tomorrow he will be demonstrating a wingsuit flight live "for the first time on national tv" if you guys are interested.

Does anyone know who all was present during Adrian Nicholas' record flight in 1999? I'm also looking for some details such as 1. what DZ was this done at? 2. Was the opening altitude of "500 feet" which i've read really accurate? How was that determined? Protrack? 3. What type of Oxygen setup did he use? 4. Does anyone have pictures from this event ? What about endurance? I know that is more of a pilot deal and not a suit deal, but how hard is it on you? Could you do a 3 minute flight and keep going??

I was watching the today show today and during the commercial break they did a teaser for a segment on wingsuits on Wed.. it was either going to be on the Today show or MSNBC...

Not sure if this has been posted yet, I searched and didn't see anything here is a video of morgan freeman and Jack Nicholson skydiving in a movie called the Bucket List... Its a Perris skyvan but looks like Eloy scenery.. who knows, I've never jumepd at Perris so that may be Perris scenery.
