    Ascent speed shouldn't matter. They should work just fine. neptune's you will want to set to special dive/manual.

    Out of the past three years, it rained only last year. But, being Mardi Gras, the weeks in which it lies varies. I was freezing at night, and I don't think I'll tent out there again. I'm also a pansy. Uh you sure about that? Of the past years there hasn't been a MG boogie that it DIDN'T rain at least 1 day. Last years was the worst though. Mike has extended the boogie for this very reason.

    Not sure what you mean by "recommend" it has lost some of it's luster, but still looks decent. There haven't been any serious wear issues.

    skyrays are more expensive, more pain in the ass, but perform better.. of course it's like comparing a wingsuit to a hang-glider really. I don't think they'll ever catch on, they're too big of a pain in an aircraft.. I don't see how you'd be able to get into an otter with one and not inconvenience everyone on board. The wings aren't collapsable I don't believe.

    You could just walk with the rig, TSA has specific instructions on what to do with a parachute now - they are allowed. I"m walking with my birdman gear bag which has "birdman" written on the back of it.

    Yup I date, have an awesome girlfriend though she isn't a skydiver and I tend to go through crap with her about boogies and whatnot... but she and i get along great and have a great time together. now if i could just get her to jump out of a plane.

    Check and see what software you have on your neptune, if it isn't 1.2.1 then you could update..

    The updates are out, you can download the software from their website - if you have a laptop with an IR port you can update it now, if not you have to go buy an IR port for your computer. The updates we are talking about is the software to take the jump info off the neptune Kevin

    Well I was told at one point it was due out in "november" -- i do know it's not being made by alti, so it's really out of their hands how quick the other person works - but i feel people should be held accountable for missed deadlines on things that are being provided as a product for a paying customer. So hopefully they're getting onto the people who are coding the software.
