I would definately like to feel some fake boobies (preferably installed) -- anyone had the op? Are they like rocks? I heard courtney love took her's home (after they had been de-installed) her dog got a hold of one and died. hehe Kevin

I don't know if you guys have noticed or not, but realtv must really like skydiving - every single time anad rashad or whatever his name is, is talking - there is at least one tv behind him with a skydiving clip playing. :)

I am so pissed at real-tv I could SPIT! I was watching the show while doing some homework tonight... they showed a parachute jump gone bad (what's new) .. here is what has me peeved: "This skydiver's first jump turns out to go wrong" or some crap like that.. well that's nice, it goes on in lithuania and I don't know if they just do things differently over there or what but this first jumper has a camera strapped to his head and captures it all on tape. "Okay buddy this is your first jump, strap this on make sure the light is red before you jump out!" If you guys haven't seen it, it is a good tape -- pretty serious spinning malfunction (i guess it started below the hard deck somehow because he never cut it away - or he just for some reason never cut it away) tape shows him smacking the ground, "walks" away with a broken tailbone.. Now why the hell would they say something like "this first jumper" grrr just to make it seem more dramatic!? Kevin

Damn you're small, but the green bathing suit you have on does offset the ocean quite nicely. How old is your stepmother?? She looks like she could be a skydiver too! it's sunday and i am so not motivated to do homework

CNN Article here EVELETH, Minnesota (CNN) -- Democratic Sen. Paul Wellstone, his wife Sheila and daughter Marcia died Friday in a small plane crash near Eveleth, Minnesota, Democratic sources said. The sources said three staff members and two crew members also died in the crash. The plane went down in a wooded area about seven miles east of Eveleth-Virginia Municipal Airport. Officials said bad weather was reported in the area, and the last contact with the plane was at 10:20 a.m. when the plane was about two miles from the Eveleth airport. Choking back tears, a Senate colleague expressed his sympathy. "He was such a good man, and his wife too," said Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont. "All of these people had families and they had friends and this is a horrible, horrible thing." Such sentiments were echoed by Republicans. "He always just had a love for every person because you knew everything that he was talking about he deeply believed in and deeply cared about," said Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kansas. "And then he cared deeply about the people around him. He was a very engaging person." Wellstone held a key Democratic seat in the U.S. Senate and had been criss-crossing the state in a tough re-election campaign against former St. Paul Mayor Norm Coleman. The plane, a twin-engine turboprop King Air manufactured by Raytheon Aircraft, took off from Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, a southwestern suburb of Minneapolis. He was scheduled to attend a funeral in the northeast, followed by a campaign stop in Duluth. Wellstone, 58, won his Senate seat in 1990, the only challenger that year to unseat an incumbent. The son of Russian immigrants, Wellstone was raised in Arlington, Virginia, and was a champion wrestler at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where he earned both a bachelor's degree and a doctorate. Wellstone was a champion of health care coverage expansion and environmental concerns, and was considered by many to be one of the Senate's most liberal members. The crash leaves a void in the state's election for the Senate. Under Minnesota law, if a nominee in a Senate race dies during a campaign, his or her political party can select a replacement candidate no later than four days before the general election. Election Day this year is November 5. The Republican National Committee had shown a strong interest in defeating Wellstone, known as one of the most liberal members of the Senate. When the senator broke his promise to serve only two terms, Republicans took it as a challenge to ensure his defeat.

On the front page of msn.com today, The Top 10 Ways to attract a guy (can you believe someone actually wrote an article on this?) Anyway, drum roll please... #1: SHOW SOME SKIN DAMN IT! ANd if you're going to do #1 make sure you do tip #2: WORK OUT but since we are all skydivers here, I'm sure that isn't a problem -
Go check out the thread for the official naked skydiving website, if you go to that website the pictures (proof) that it can be done are there.

What the hell will vaseline do for cold weather? Is that just to keep things from getting chapped or something?
-
Ok, So I'm a weenie. I admit it, I don't like jumping in anything less than 60 degrees (ground temp). Problem #1: My birdman suit comes next week (11 weeks after ordering) Problem #2: I live in virginia which leads me to.. Problem #3: The highs are around 55 so that brings me back to my weenie issue. I need some tips on what helps with cold weather... I know "layers" but what about gloves? The gloves I jump with block wind but aren't that warm, the ones that are warm restrict your dexterity, I heard there were some electric ones somewhere which sound neat... What about those neoprine (sp) ski masks, do those things work very well? My feet, hands, and face are the parts that suffer so much.. it sucks not being able to pack your canopy b/c you can't feel your hands! :) Any help is appreciated. Kevin

A LEVEL III is a rating by the NIJ (National Institute of Justice) who certify body armor. nij standard 0101.03 Level III is defined as: 2.5 Type III ( High-Powered Rifle) This armor protects against 7.62 mm full metal jacketed bullets (U.S. military designation M80), with nominal masses of 9.7 g (150 gr) impacting at a velocity of 838 m (2750 ft) per second or less. It also provides protection against threats such as 223 Remington (5.56 mm FMJ), 30 Carbine FMJ, and 12 gauge rifled slug, as well as the threats mentioned in sections 2.1 through 2.4. The trauma pack is a 5 x 8 piece that goes in a chest pocket on your vest.. it's kinda an "upgrade" of protection for your chest/heart area. here are some samples -

I wouldn't consider what he did as being a true sniper.. i hear it isn't that hard to hit someone from 150 yards with that type of rifle... anyway, it tested positive as the murder weapon.. and i Just ordered my level III trauma pack for my vest 2 days ago! :( -
I met nevada barr.. she's pretty neat, I think she is from mississippi isn't she?
