How is that distinguishable from fantasy?
-
You seem to claim that right, wrong, good, evil and morality are entities of themselves. Yet, you provide nothing to support your claims. How can I tell your beliefs from fantasy?
-
Definitions are irrelevant, define them any way you want. But to ignore their existence is blind ignorance. Physics is totally unconcerned with morality. The laws of physics will kill and destroy as easily as they will build up and heal. It is our spiritual awareness that determines how we use physics. Prove that they are entities by themselves. Morality is defined by humans and is constantly being redefined. There is no such thing as "spiritual awareness". Show me objective evidence to support your claim. The majority of christians don't derive their morality entirely from the bible. If they did then slavery would be considered morally correct. No where in the bible does it denounce slavery. The bible gives instructions regarding who you can enslave and how you treat your slaves.
-
No they are not. Right, wrong, good and evil are words defined and constantly being redifined by humans. They are not entities of them selves as you seem to think.
-
You opinions along with everyone else's is proof of the "non physical" or spiritual side of reality. The laws of physics are incapable of an opinion and have no concern for what anyone believes. Right or wrong, good or bad is totally a spiritual construct. Since we exist with an innate spirituality, spiritual reality is a very real part of nature. ... How is that distinguishable from fantasy? Prove that there is an "innate sprituality".

Even the scientists that believe in Christianity have to leave their beliefs behind when they do their work. If they were to just attribute something to God, they would lose their job. Attributing something to God ends the learning process and gets us no where.
-
Yeah and that doesn't detract from the accuracy of the statement.
-
Believing something with no evidence to support that belief is gullibility. "Religion is the philosophy of ignorance." I can't say that is an exact quote of Neil DeGrasse Tyson, but it's what I remember him saying in a speech and I find it to be accurate.

So only rich people young rulers are supposed sell everything and follow Jesus? Nice fantasy.
-
Ron is slacking. Luke 18:22 When Jesus heard his answer, he said, "There is still one thing you haven't done. Sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
-
No, I don't know that to be true. There is no such thing as a spiritual world. You have no evidence to suggest there is a spiritual world. If you do submit it to be tested and evaluated objectively.
-
Your rebuttal is flat and unimaginative. Without the spiritual component that life imparts to physical reality nothing would have meaning. As spiritual beings we can reflect on the wonders of God's creation. Objectivity is impossible for those who have blinded themselves to the Truth. Prove that there is any such thing as a spiritual component. It's something people made up to explain what they didn't understand. No one has ever come up with any evidence to support the existence of any spiritualism. You guys make a lot of claims with zero objective evidence to even suggest that your claims are true.

Your hallucinations are unconvincing. The easiest person to fool is yourself. You are emotionally attached to your beliefs so much that you are unable to objectively look at your beliefs and realize they are unfounded. This is mostly due to being indoctrinated since childhood.

It's just another mythology.

You will need to buy a wireless router. You can either get a new TV or Blu Ray disk player that supports the applications you want to use that has WiFi capabilities. The Blu Ray disk player will be cheaper. That is the route I took. Both are available at Best Buy. I generally go with Linksys for the wireless router. I always get one that also supports wired connection.

Just so I can understand you situation better, are you saying your internet service is dial up?

So you claim it's "typical" to say contradictory things on the same day, but when challenged can't come up with another example. Got it. By typical what I was meaning is it's typical for politicians to lie. The time between contradictory statements is meaningless.
-
I don't keep track of all the times politicans lie, so I can't give you an example that fits your criteria. I don't think it takes that much of a stretch to think that other politicians haven't done the same thing. Consider all the promises Obama made when he was running for president that he didn't keep. Gitmo is one that was mentioned earlier. Politicians lie, Obama has lied, Romney has lied. Just because Romney was caught saying contradictory things on the same day is not such a surprising thing. So A politician was caught lying!!! I think that's just politics as usual.
-
Let me explain. The Romney campaign, on the same day, made mutually contradictory statements about his stance on abortion legislation. To believe that both are true at the same time is to believe an impossible thing. Easy, really. Well I never disputed that. I just pointed out that I think that is pretty typical of all politicians.
-
My bad then ... Not sure what you mean by "six impossible things" quote. Is it impossible to believe that most politicians say what their audience wants to hear and that pointing it out in one only shows your bias against said politician?
-
That could be said about pretty much all politicians, including Obama. Pointing it out in one you dislike just shows your bias. Seems that Romney thinks his supporters are like the White Queen: "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast". You assume. I am not a Romney supporter. Can't stand him anymore then Obama.

I believe in one God. One God, many ways to pray to him. I think that was pretty clear, but it doesn't answer either of my questions. If you decline to answer then that's OK.
