It seems like the closer we get to Rantoul, the "dodgier" people are becoming. It must be a hedonistic paradise. If you get this chick to Rantoul, Give her the tool.

Hey Bill, one more thing. You represented our sport well. By being kind and patient you generated more interest for our sport than by being bitter and acerbic.
-
Wow! I hope that this doesn't happen to you often.

Welcome fellow static-liner. That's how I learned. Wait until you get on freefall. What a blast! Congrats and welcome to our world. -

Have you ever been injured while skydiving?
robskydiv replied to Clownburner's topic in Safety and Training
I fractured the third digit on Rt thumb. I was a new "A" License holder at the time. The DZ was using a WDI attatched to a pole as a windsock. I should have followed the experienced jumper down. Down-wind high speed dirt landing. And I should have PLF'D. -
In reply to: 'Parachute' is a more fitting 'umbrella' term than skydiving. I agree. The parachute is the inexorable symbol of our sport. It always will be. (Until someone lands without one wearing a birdman suit.)

I was born, actually I should say we were born in the year of the snake. (My sister and I) It's all bakwards. She beat me to the door by seven minutes. She should be skydiving and I should be a mechanic.

Hi Princess. Jumping with someone else paid off. You reacted superbly. When in doubt, whip it out and go with the flow. -
Would you pay the re-pack if you packed a mal for a friend?
robskydiv replied to tosca's topic in Gear and Rigging
I wouldn't pack my friend's chute. I'd teach him how to pack his own. -
No flaming here Zenister. I concur.
