Precious baby Sinker. Tell mama how proud you are of her.
-
Sorry bro. I had noticed that someone had answered the poll and assumed that it was you because of your quick response. Now we both know what happens when we "assume"
-
Yepper, Quade. You assumed correctly. I check my altitude in the plane before leaving. My point is that we all have an internal clock. While in freefall, when do you check your altitude? And I see that you check every fifteen seconds. I think that you have a beautiful mind.
-
Dave, you've made a great point. I too would like to see some compensation given to the jumper who had his rig hacked up. "USPA, an organization run by skydivers, for skydivers." Let's see it!
-
I've noticed that on the average, after leaving the plane, my first altitude check comes right at 32 seconds. If I feel that I need to be even more alert, I'll check 3 times. Once I come off of the hill, again about mid-way through, at break-off, and of course right before pull time. How about you?
-
How about Air National Guard? Maybe could get us a C-130.
-
Hi Cagrito. Where are you from?

Congrats Surf4life! It is truly an accomplishment. Now go and have some more fun. -
1:3:1 One night jump, Three points, One "D" License. YAY!!

Thankyou Airtwardo. In reply to: "Would you take your kid/s to the dropzone alone." Fri. night I did. And I have before. I don't like to as I don't want him to bother anybody. At one DZ, they actually told me to bring him and the ladies there would watch him while I was in the plane. 98% of the time, I go the DZ alone. As far as having an incident while he's there, I bank on my safety record and habits. But, having said that, we all take our chances. One more thing, I want him to be exposed to aircraft so that one day he may be a pilot.

Ditto. I'm like you Shotgun. I began in '92, on again, off again for awhile. Steady since '97.

Thanks Outofit.

Hi ShadowPlay. Congrats on the jump. Since you are an AFF student, stay put. Just my opinion. Harry

Get some of your blood drawn and inject it into a living rabbit. Sometimes it's cool to just pig out. Enjoy your meal.

Wow! What an amazing day/night I had yesterday. I got to fulfill my last requirement for the "D" License which was a Night Jump w/RW. 3-Way, from 8,000 ft. 4-points. Stand-up Landing. My first night jump was four years ago. Now all I have to do is send in the paperwork. I am sooo stoked. My soon to be 3-year old son was there and he ran to me after I landed. What a great feeling!
-
Congrats to Sinker Glad that baby's fine and home Will he be jumper?

I did one from 2K once. I thought: "This is what a BASE jump must feel like." The canopy took a bit longer to open which made me nervous.
