Not hard to do actually... she usually wakes up, her hubby goes to work, she proceeds to procrastinate till lunch time, (hopefully takes a shower) I believe bring him lunch, procrastinate a little bit more and then MAYBE do some homework. My first tandem was around jump 250 or so for me. Scared the bejeezies outa me not being in control. I've done a few since then, but still prefer my own rig. Hope you trust your tandem master!

Don't use a double negative, it makes you look like an ignorant dumbass for the 1000th time, english is like my 3rd or 4th language.. dont be a hater! how many languages do you understand/speak!? Yea I went to Zhills this past weekend & they have a LOT of Europeans over there. I felt really dense since I know only 2 languages (english & american sign language). everybody else knew @ least 3 if not more....

Pro-tec Helmet (that's not specifically made for skydiving) Question

For now, it's fine. My DZ uses a similar protect for our students (ours have ear protection though). If you're still a student on radio, don't use earplugs yet. (Also if you're still a student ask your instructor before jumping any kind of gear.) But if you're not a student on radio, you might want to invest in a good pair just to protect your hearing. But eventually, you will need a new helmet if you want to use audibles. But you can save money now & just use that one. It'll protect your head just as well if not better than true skydiving helmets. -

Harness resizing is fairly cheap, but the container cannot be resized without rebuilding it... If the yoke is too wide or narrow, the new harness will still not fit just right. If it were me, I'd go used all the way... If I don't find a container/harness that fits, I would get the container that fits, and get the harness resized. FWIW, I recently repacked a Javelin that had the harness resized, which took them a while to do, and its still not even close to what it should be. Mine? I bought used gear around 100 jumps or so. I had my harness resized as much as I could. Sadly, I bought the gear without asking enough questions first. It kinda fit & it was a great deal. I later found out that you can email the manufacturer the ID number and your measurements. They'll let you know if that rig will fit you or if it can be resized to fit you. I wish I had known that before I bought my rig. My rig fits well enough for safety but its not as comfortable as it could be. Good luck with your gear search!

Trigirl, I agree with you! In fact, if we talked about having kids on the first date I'd up and run with my tail between my legs! Dating is meant to be fun, not an automatic commitment to the other person just because you had dinner once or twice.

You're probably guaranteed to have to take some sort of refresher course at least if not the whole thing. Call the DZ you want to go to and ask them. It will be that DZ's instructors that will have to make the call.

Except this little thing called STD's.......... Proper escorts get regularly tested and refuse to have unprotected sex, I'm not talking about 5$ crackwhores here. I'd be a lot more worried about some random chick picked up from a bar then a pro. 60% of sexually active women have herpes and 50% have HPV. If you're going to get STD's, you're most likely going to get them from the girl next door. Touche sir! You are absolutely right. It probably is more risky with the girl next door. Though now I wonder about your expertise in the prostitute arena....
