  1. intellectual similarity. I hate when I have to explain everything to him or have him explain everything to me. Learning from your partner is one thing, but not having any similar intellectual interests sucks.
  2. Shah, I think it's great you have standards & requirements. & that you're actually solid on them. Too many people are in crappy relationships just to be a relationship. Or they compromise on the basic points they say they want above all else, like monogamy but staying with a repeat cheater. I was just pointing out that you do have those requirements. You shouldn't be ashamed of them or compromise on them. You like what you like, hold out till you find it. I wish you the best of luck in your search
  3. I wear contacts & Gators. I've never had a problem with them. Sure a contact might come out eventually, but I know people with full face visors that have lost contacts. I am looking into a new pair of goggles or glasses so people can see my eyes though. It's definitely true that communication is reduced with tint. I also don't like the whole sunset practically blind thing....
  4. Requirements? Such as? sub size 8, active, educated, not a mom, never wanting to be a mom,.... I'm pretty sure I'm missing some...
  5. Yeah! But heck a boy can dream right? That maybe the world would be a bit more equal. LOL. The world is so unfair on men: After centuries of inequality we're still at a disadvantage for careers, how we're treated is almost entirely based on our looks and we're expected to give up our lives to look after kids. Damn you women! When will we be treated equally! but at least you can pee standing up You lot have multiple orgasms. 1-1 You're right about the dating messages though. I try and use a girls profile to find questions to ask, and have a pretty good success rate. And thats only going for really hot girls (though I define that by more than just a dress size ). That might seem shallow, but all you really get from a profile is looks and a fairly generic paragraph, so why not? Just fyi I know plenty of guys who can have multiple orgasms. or at least more than one in one night. so you dont get that one But totally only go for the hot ones. It's one of my weed out systems for online dating and dating in general. What's the point if you're not physically attracted to the person?
  6. except I think you're wrong on that one... but at least its something interesting and might actually get a response.

  8. Tell me about it! Add to it that I don't want kids and well....it gets really dark really quick. But yeah, I would say I spend a good 3 hours per week just reading profiles and sending out "Hi how are you" emails. 98% fail rate. So that 2% is a serious issue. Thus the question "How much of a turn off is it..." If all you're writing is "Hi how are you?" of course you're not getting a response. I answered probably at best 1% of the emails I got b/c they were mostly like that. What am I supposed to say to "Hi how are you?" ..... "fine. you?"... "fine." Dead boring convo right there. Unless your profile is ridiculously full of character/personality, you'll never get a response. Ask a question having to do with her profile. Or just something random. But give her more to go on than "how are you" But don't ask a question that's clearly answered in her profile like "what do you like to do for fun." That just gets redundant & she'll think you didn't even read her profile.
  9. I don't own a house, so no danger of losing one And I'm only about $300 in debt right now. So I figure I'm not exactly gonna lose everything. Probably not the smartest thing but the dreams of finally having a shiny new suit are too irresistible. I'll most likely be able to pay it off by the time I actually get it
  10. Yeah! But heck a boy can dream right? That maybe the world would be a bit more equal. I contacted a few at first. But generally ya, now I just ignore the site until I get an email with a decent amount of potential. Sorry but you're working against years of social conditioning.
  11. Well it was deleted, but I'm pro online dating if your normal social circle isnt working for you. I work with mostly women & can't afford to pick up any new hobbies. So a friend convinced me to try it. I met some nice guys, but online dating sadly didnt really work for me. I found even people who were "adventurous" meant they were willing to try new foods, not willing to jump out of planes..... oh well.
  12. Hey don't hate on the dating sites. I've been on them before & I have absolutely no problem relating to men. They're a pretty decent way to meet people outside of your usual social circle without picking up new hobbies.
  13. So did that teach you that when she said "No", she meant "No"? Nope. ski knows the rules: "No means yes, yes means twice, BAAAAHHH means no"
  14. I couldn't imagine being ABLE to piss/shit myself during a tazing... Ofcourse, I've only been tazed once. and i still wanna see that video
  15. I've got 15 mins on Friday night... just sayin, you could probably get 15 too. everyone meet the devil on my shoulder telling me to rack up more debt
  16. Yea, I know I have to pay it off eventually. But I don't have that much debt. Something pretty it is New tonysuit here I come. I'll just be half good & not got to the tunnel too.
  17. So I just got my shiny new credit card in the mail yesterday So tempted to put WAY too much on it. Have my eyes on a new suit, a big ol' block of jumps, and keep getting tempted towards some tunnel time. My conscience is battling itself on whether I should be fiscally responsible or just have say screw it b/c there's no interest for the first year Wondering if DZ.com is gonna joing the angel or the devil side of the argument....

    Lisa H?

That's awesome! Go little girl go! Make your dreams come true!
  19. Well although I don't get paid to drink beer, I basically get paid to do almost nothing.... I sit at a desk and occasionally have to talk to people. It almost seems like I get paid to surf the internet somedays. It's a pretty decent gig
  20. I only get really plane sick when jumping while hungover. But if I can keep it in through the plane ride, I'm fine once in the air. & my hangover is usually gone after My best friend used to jump and she got plane sick pretty easily. Especially if our more "adventurous" pilot was flying. She would take non-drowsy anti-motion sickness pills on the worst days to get past it.
  21. I like a girl who makes dumb choices. Definitely someone to ask out for a drink.
  22. glad you're alright! & that you love it more now! good for you!
  23. Hey Shah don't give up hope yet. I met a guy this weekend who is probably around your age. (I assume b/c he kept calling me young, but didn't look all that old.) He doesn't want kids & found a gal who doesnt want kids either. They're married & very happy now. Oh and he looks a wee bit like you & she's smokin' hot.
  24. nunya; 5; 1 My first time jumping @ zhills. It was SO much fun!
