  1. that's a cool video. did you shoot that tandem one too?? later
  2. just to make sure, your saying that you can get over 300 foot swoop on your stiletto?? i do admit, i have scene some good swoops on stilettos, but that seams a bit steep. i'm hoping you are exagurating a bit here.
  3. well i had over 600 jumps on a heatwave 120, and i didn't ever replace anything on it. do you have velcro riser?? have you checked you guide ring to make sure it is smooth?? i haven't heard of anything like the lines being different on PD canopies, but i could be wrong. later
  4. i can't seam to find a e-mail for airtec themselves, but i found one for SSK. you can look at this web site, and see if you can find it. http://www.pia.com/airtec/ later
  5. ya, i guess that does kinda make sense. but your so small, and light wiegth, with you wings, isn't that enough?? i don't know, i guess it would be easier to fly with less out of the burble. later
  6. what's wrong with your side mount??? later
  7. well, i can help out by taking over those tandem vids for ya and airtight, well, i can't say you should quit that. hell, they do pay for you jumps right?? later
  8. dude, your so right it's not even funny when you put your hands back to flare, you are pulling down on your rear risers (pulling them out) and it give almost the same effect as flaring with rears. you still pull down the tail just a bit, but mostly it would be rear risers doing the work. edit: look at the pic in this forum, this is what i'm talking about http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=3499; later
  9. roy, you can come pack back in the hole with short bus, be stuck back there while the rest of us are out jumping our ass off, and your doing all the grunt work later
  10. dude, triple risers do nothing for you. i had them, and they didn't add to my swoop at all. they did nothing. i don't recomend them. do what they have said above, that will help more than anything. just my $.02 later
  11. you can come to skydive wayne county this sumer and pack. i need to find some more packers to run the gear room. that sucks that you don't like your job though. later
  12. cordura, because i tend to get lazy, and if i don't feel like running out a landing if i have to, i'll just slide on my ass. so if i had parapack, it would scratch up, and look like hell, with cordura, i can just clean it up real quick, and it still looks good. and i don't think parapak looks very good. later
  13. were talking about the January issue right?? i'm stupid, i can't find it. later
  14. the hornet is a really great canopy. i have over 250 jumps on them. from 170 to 120. really nice canopies. you also need to try some other canopies out. the sabre 2, from what i hear, is nice. and the safire 2 is a nice canopy also. all are in this same range as a hornet. but price wise, the hornet wins again. you can get a brand new hornet for the price of a used sabre 2, or safire 2. *usally*. demo everything before you make a decision. later
  15. well, they are very comfortable. but that is as far as i go with the likes. i think they are ugly as hell. and thier price sucks, and the d-bags suck too. that's just my opinion though. oh, and they are too short on my back (for the same size canopies that i have) later
  16. 13 out of 14 that's like 93% right. later
  17. i hate mushrooms. with a passion. they are so nasty. later
  18. then why in the hell do they have there risers hanging out all over the place, and have thier pilot chute hanging half way out, and even have about a quarter of thier canopy hanging out the corrners of the rig (ok, not really a quarter, but you get the point). then i see some with there closing loops way to long. and i know that they are only doing hop in pops, but still. now i know not all crw guys are like this, but i have seen a lot that go walking to the plane looking like this. later
  19. hey, happy b-day damnit. how old is your kid?? later
