    I agree that looks like a box cutter, someone cut to deep when opening the box. I doubt it was the Mfr. they should know better. And again, i would take a close look at it. Good luck J

    Congrats. NORM! Well deserved. Found this, thoght it was interesting. http://bpa.org.uk/skydive/pages/articles/jun01/reflecting.htm He told me the story of how he got his start in Muskogee....funny stuff, he umm well told ABC he knew the camera they gave hem to use "quite well" to get the job. He then snuck away to his van and learned it. Itss funny when he tells it. J

LOL Looks like a great time! Do you think they will allow us to drink alcohol?

    Just give it time, 5 years from now take a look and see who is still in the sport from today. 3-5 years and they femur out of the sport. Love my spectre, will jump it for as long as I can jump. I think the spectre will help me stay in the sport, hell I even put dacron lines on it. Love it!! Just ignore em. J

    I have been involved with Sean for two years, been to 3 of his events. Very safe and always has very experienced staff. There is nothing easy about setting up an operation like this with out running into some challenges. I was at Sturgis and helped Sean with this event. Many lessons were learned for next yea but the jumps went perfectly. Joe even took two physically challenged passengers with no problems. Excellent tandem master IMO. If you get a chance to see one of his events go check it out, might answer more of your questions. Hope this helps. J

    Hey Gary! I was talking about those the other day in some other state (where ever I was). I remember when those came out, what color is yours, most the ones I saw back inthe day were neon orange. Ed Duncan (D32 I think) was flying the C182 for DPA (Dallas Parachute Association Seagoville Tx) when three of them crawled out on the step for the first time. Well you can probably guess what happened. The nose went up, stalled and did three complete spins before recovering. Needless to say there was plenty to learn from that. I doubt that would happen today (three a a time that is), but thought I would share. Oh, when did they actually come out? I keep thinking the late 70's, but i was just a kid

    Glad you brought this up. Folks need to know that most dealers in the US sell containers at 20 to 25% off MSRP, so a 50% is only worth about 25% off. When we do the auction at SkyFest I always let people know what its "actual" value is before the bidding starts. Outside of the US, its a whole other story. If I am not mistken the dealers there do not discount the same way, so a "foreign" purchase of a certificate may not be so bad of a deal. my .02$ worth

    So you sold the crotch rocket, was that cause you need a Harley? it has been a great time, there are some skinny passengers here as well The T6 jump was probably one of my favorites. I really enjoy the AC that are a challenge to get out of, especially at 6'2". The DC9 was rather boring for me, not to take anything away from it, hell, cant beat the climb rate!! This place is filled with all kinds of specialty AC, so far most are open to lets us jump them. Except for the Blackhawk We still have a couple days left, get out here and jump over one of the largest parties in the world!!!

    Very very carefully! I stepped out with the right foot first then left down to the wing. Its a long reach and the step is only about 4"wide. Once I got to the wing with the left I dropped the right. Then I grabbed the step with my right hand with my body facing the fuselage. I was going to squat down to the wing and then go but it didnt feel right or secure when I started to squat. So I just went off at a 45 angle and it was great. He was in a slight decent so the tail was even higher. He was able to slow it to 80 so it wasnt a big struggle. Two concerns were squatting in the seat with my rig in the air for about a minute and of course the first step getting to the wing. I have a really bad right ankle so it was even more of a concern. My 33rd AC to jump and my 1440 skydive!! whoo hooo
