I tie the end of the bungee around the holder. The knot holds the end of the bungee to itself. I don't tie a knot that "plugs" it and keeps it from going through the holders. I would avoid a long loop, where you run the bungee through both holders and then tie the ends together. Doing that makes a potential trap for the pilot chute handle. It's possible (although unlikely) for the handle to end up through the loop formed by the bungee. That would be a booger of a mal. And it's reportedly happened. I did a quick search and came up empty. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Lucky McSwervy "~ya don't GET old by being weak & stupid!" - Airtwardo

It gets broadcast on the weekends in a few markets that I'm familiar with. Usually right after WWDTM on Saturday. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Lucky McSwervy "~ya don't GET old by being weak & stupid!" - Airtwardo

Comey Action against trump for Libel & Slander
wolfriverjoe replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
He's never been held accountable for his actions before. Never in his life. There have been a few times where he's had to pay someone off to get out of trouble, but it's usually been 'chump change' for someone of his means. I honestly don't think he understands the concept of "consequences". Hopefully, he will learn. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Trump's personal lawyer names mystery client: Sean Hannity
wolfriverjoe replied to skymiles's topic in Speakers Corner
Don't hold your breath. First, I'll bet pretty big that Cohen has enough info on Trump to have some sort of control over him. Cohen has been Trump's "Fixer" for a while now. Second, Cohen knows he's in serious trouble. He also knows that anything Trump might say would not be helpful. Add one and two and the chances that Cohen is one of a very few people with the ability to tell Trump to STFU and make it stick are pretty high. The fact that Trump has been silent on it for this long is very telling. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Comey Action against trump for Libel & Slander
wolfriverjoe replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
A few thoughts on this: First off, being called nasty names isn't grounds for a libel suit. The plaintiff needs to prove the false statements caused damage. Not seeing that here. Second, Trump's repeated 'name calling' towards anyone who he's currently mad at may provide some sort of defense. Something of a "He says stuff like this all the time. He does it so often, nobody takes what he says seriously" sort of reasoning. Last, Trump may well have made a major mistake (again). By all accounts, Comey was liked and respected by those he led. One way to really piss off a cop is to go after his colleague. One way to really raise the ire of an FBI guy is to attack the Bureau or it's members. If there is something that the FBI can find, I think the chances of them looking long enough and hard enough to find it, no matter what, have increased dramatically. Trump's personal lawyer names mystery client: Sean Hannity
wolfriverjoe replied to skymiles's topic in Speakers Corner
Well, under normal circumstances, I would agree. But this whole situation is far, far from normal. Sitting Pres, bad (potentially) NDA and payoff, campaign finance violations, actions by an attorney who denies acting as the attorney, turns out there's another payoff/NDA, and on and on. I don't think Judge Wood is doing this on a whim. I think she knows full well the appeal potential of any mistake. She isn't a rookie judge, shooting from the hip. If uncaused causes are possible you've eliminated the need for god to be a cause, and demolished your own 'evidence'. God is the uncaused cause (singular). He is even the reason for your ability to reason against him. Still waiting on that "preponderance of evidence." Still waiting on one shred of evidence. People making deductive conclusions based on conjecture and reasoning that has been proven wrong over and over doesn't count. People using Bronze age myths, legends and folk tales, even when they convene formal "confessions" to attempt to explain inconsistencies doesn't count. Real. Tangible. Testable. Evidence. Trump's personal lawyer names mystery client: Sean Hannity
wolfriverjoe replied to skymiles's topic in Speakers Corner
I think our posts crossed. There's a lot of weaseling in Hannity's words. Hannity claims he wasn't a client 'in the traditional sense'. So what kind of 'non-traditional' client was he? Never received an invoice or paid 'legal fees'. What kind of fees did he pay? And how did he pay them? Cash? Bitcoin? Paypal F&F? Kinda doubt that last one, it's traceable. Trump's personal lawyer names mystery client: Sean Hannity
wolfriverjoe replied to skymiles's topic in Speakers Corner
Well, it's kind of funny. On one hand, Hannity claims he was never a client. On the other, he wants to claim 'attorney - client privilege' How can one utilize that privilege if one has never been a client? Note - No link. It's out there, all over the place. I am not concerned with his moral defects. I don't know for certain if we have ever had a totally moral POTUS. FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford (Maybe), Carter (Maybe), Reagan, HWBush, Clinton, GWBush, Obama and President Trump are questionable. Those are the ones in my lifetime. NBD Nice dodge, Ron. He didn't ask if all previous Presidents were "moral"(hint: nobody is totally 'moral') He asked, specifically, if you think Trump has 'certain severe moral defects." I will specify some of them: Sexual Predator and Adulterer. Con man and Thief. Compulsive Liar. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Clinton didn't have to. He sicc'ed his wife on the female accusers, and threw them under the bus. Besides, all that shit with Stormy happened over a decade ago. He was still impeached over it. While not directly over the womanizing, it was directly related to it. The incident that resulted in the perjury happened a long time before Clinton was president. And while Trump did bang Daniels way back in 06, the agreement to keep it quiet happened in 2016. Right before the election. While Trump was the R candidate (not just a R candidate, the R candidate). Being a candidate means that he's governed by the rules that apply to candidates. Regardless of what he did in the past as a 'private citizen', when he became a candidate, he subjected himself to a variety of rules and regulations. Meh. Most car auction places charge that. On a car going well into 6 figures, sometimes well into 7, those fees are not trivial. There was a big scandal back around the beginning of the century where Christie's and Southeby's were engaging in price fixing. Criminal charges were filed, convictions obtained and a prison sentence handed down. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/1391957/Taubman-is-jailed-for-Sothebys-price-fixing.html "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Oh my. You might try going on a car forum and asking "Which oil is best?" I have no experience with Bev personally, but the ones I've seen are very nice and seem to be well made. I currently have 2 Tonys (Tonies?) that I jump. RW and hybrid. I have a 3rd (RW) that blew out a sleeve that I have to decide what to do with. Both of the RWs were given to me, and are well used. The sleeve blew due to age and wear, not because it was defective. I got the hybrid off the rack at Summerfest back in 09 (35% discount

What was wrong with Obama's leadership? He was black. And a Liberal. Duh. I didn't vote for him either time, and still disagree to a certain degree with some of his positions. But he could lead. Don't bet on it. That taint will be on those Rs who supported the Mango Mussolini for a long time. And that includes those who publicly supported him, but privately opposed him. Ryan knows this. He wasn't enough of a "Trumpette" to be sure of winning the primary, and too much of one to be sure of winning the regular election. Given Trump's approval/disapproval numbers, anyone running against an R simply has to say "He supported Trump here, here and here." And unless Ryan steps down as Speaker (possible because he's now a 'lame duck'), McCarthy won't have to worry about it. I don't see any way that the Rs are in charge of the House next year. There's a difference between 'leading the country' and 'occupying the office'. I have yet to see anything resembling actual leadership from the Mango Mussolini. BillyVance's "You Can't Make This Up" News Stories Thread

Of course they were injured! To the point of getting killed. Some people I swear.... just needs a kick in the nuts. Gonna guess he means that there weren't any injured survivors. Not the most elegant way of phrasing it. "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Lucky McSwervy "~ya don't GET old by being weak & stupid!" - Airtwardo -
So simply because there is no known way for it to happen means that there isn't a way for it to happen? One that we don't yet know about? So we, as humans know everything? As I said on the last page, this is simply the "God of the Gaps." It's been done before, and proven wrong. One of the more recent one is the eye. How could an eye spontaneously evolve into being? It can't, so God must have made it happen (which is crap, by the way). As was also noted: "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." It was one of the first results of a quick search. I'm not terribly familiar with the site. There were a lot of other results that said the exact same thing. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+does+heroin+come+into+the+us&oq=How+does&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i60j69i57j69i60l2j0.3868j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 The important parts are what was quoted in the story: You may not like the overall source of the article, but can you refute the quotes above? Sources like: Then-U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Gil Kerlikowske told a congressional committee last year. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) reported in its 2016 National Drug Threat Assessment Gen. John Kelly, then the commander of U.S. South Command, told a Senate committee in 2015. I have yet to hear anyone with any real knowledge say that Trump's "Border Wall" is anything but a publicity stunt. And I'm still waiting for him to make Mexico pay for it. Did you read the article I linked? It's estimated that the entire US consumption of heroin for a year could fit into two shipping containers. Most (almost all) of that is smuggled into the US via Ports of Entry. It's a lot more than "now and then." "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Lucky McSwervy "~ya don't GET old by being weak & stupid!" - Airtwardo

It won't. Heroin (and cocaine and meth) are compact, low volume. Virtually none of it is smuggled in a manner that 'tightening the border' or "building a wall" would affect. You can shove several thousand dollars worth of heroin up your butt and cross through a Port of Entry into the US (no, I'm not kidding). You can put several million dollars worth of heroin into a hidden compartment in a semi truck and drive it through a Port of Entry into the US. https://www.wola.org/analysis/four-common-misconceptions-u-s-bound-drug-flows-mexico-central-america/ "There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." I am interested in the logistics of this decision. Basically, AFAIK, NG and Reservists served one weekend/month and two weeks each year. Typically, yes. But for this sort of 'call up', they are ordered to serve as long as they are needed. Which means that these soldiers are being taken from their homes and lives and families and jobs, being sent to the border indefinitely. For a publicity stunt by the Mango Mussolini.
