WOW I would never have imagined that you could jump through the winter months in New England! So now I have to ask...how much "winter" gear do you need in order to jump in the winter? Full face helmet I assume. Gloves. Battery heated underwear! I still can not believe that people jump during the dead of the New England winter! Yet I am very happy to know it can be done! Thanks to all, Braz

Anyone know of a skydive store in MA, or anywhere close to MA? I know there are a million online stores, but I want to go somewhere I can physically see the products, try them on, etc. Thanks, Braz

Hello all, I made my second tandem jump on 08\23\08! Second time was much more fun than the first. I used to race motorcycles (knee down on the deck at triple digit speeds) but this...well this is just beyond description for me at the moment! I plan on going through AFF next spring. I wish I could do it now, but the money just isn't there. Anyway, I look forward to learning from all of you, and hope to meet as many of you as possible in the future. All the best, Braz

My wife and I went to Jumptown today. The facility is very clean and friendly, and the people who run the place have been in the sport since the 1970's! That is what I call experience! The snack bar serves great food! This is a big plus when you are waiting around for the weather to clear. The instructors were very sharp, and allow the student to pull the rip cord, then fly the canopy for a bit, if you so desire. This was my second tandem, and I plan on going through AFF at Jumptown in the spring of 2009!
