    Aren't you in your late 30's and have a successful job, and not reliant upon your parents??? Sorry, but I find it very odd, that the only thing that kept you home this weekend (not your family, or your ill father) is the prospect of losing money... I'd die to have the ability to live near my family to be able to visit them for holidays. I'm lucky if I see my family once a year.... g I never said "cut me off" was about money. In my family silence can be used as a weapon, so to speak. It can be either "do what I approve of" or i don't talk to you until I get my way. Sad but sometimes true. Depending on the situation.... Always be kinder than you feel.

    Yeah, he's going to be okay. But I just got the Italian guilt trip about not spending Easter with the family if I go away and I'll also miss my Uncle Jim's memorial service Monday if I don't take a day off from work. He's been gone 2 years this July and his ashes (and that of my aunt and cousins) are being buried next to my brother's grave. He got a little pissy when I said I needed to save my days off for Summerfest, Sebastian over Christmas and Puerto Rico next February. Then he threatened to cut me off again... so I guess I'm home this weekend... Wait a second Mayor McCheese.... how is it hard to have a "daughter like me"??? Always be kinder than you feel.

[:P] Hint: if you ask the same question over and over you will eventually get the right answer. TPA to Z-Hills = an hour ATL to Fitz = 3 hours??? Always be kinder than you feel.

    Hahha... I've spent many a day in J-Town. And it ROCKS!! A true NJ girl by birth... oh yeah!! No PA roots for me... just many trips over the years to good 'ol Cambria County since I was married to a guy from nowhere PA. He's a Seliga in case you know any of them. We're divorced now. At least I got to ski at Blue Knob. Always be kinder than you feel.
