I hear New Jersey is next in line to pass the medical marijuana law. So many people with so many horrible diseases, like Multiple Sclerosis, will be able to get some relief from their horrible symptoms. I can get drug tested at any time (government job). I gotta research how this would impact a + drug test. I think the Federal Law would trump the State law? Not sure how it goes at this point... because I remember reading somewhere that there was an employee of a company who was prescribed medical marijuana for MS, they had a hot piss test, and was fired from his/her job. That person sued and lost... the Federal law sided with the employer. I wish I could remember who/when/where IIRC... Always be kinder than you feel.

Oh chica.... that sucks so bad!! Maybe if you "warn" them you're going to need a pain med script they'll have it ready for you, or maybe you can get it early & have it filled for when you go right home after the surgery?? I don't know... I'm a wuss so I would probably try anything to make that day as easy as possible. Oh yeah, I also kept those sinus masks in the freezer and kept them on my cheeks so I wouldn't swell too much. It kinda helped. Always be kinder than you feel.

I haven't been through any of that stuff except having my wisdom teeth out in 2003. All I can say is TAKE ALL THE PAIN MEDS ON TIME, AS PRESCRIBED. Seriously, I wasn't in a lot of pain (at all) until I missed a dose of Percocet (or something like that) because I thought I could get up and drive to work a couple of days after the surgery. That was the beginning of the pain and I couldn't get rid of it for at least a week. That's the only advice I can give... I hope it goes well for you!! TAKE ALL OF THE PAIN MEDS AS PRESCRIBED!! DON'T MISS A DOSE!! Always be kinder than you feel.

Since what I want the most isn't going to miraculously happen (miss my Dad soooooooo much)... I always want stuff for everyone else. This year I want something for ME. I want good health, a happy heart full of love and laughter, another safe year for me skydiving (and for everyone else, of course). I want to be surrounded by fun and loving friends, make awesome memories during my travels this year. I guess I just want health, happiness and love. Lots and lots of love.

You're her HUSBAND. You come first. IMHO, when you get married the HUSBAND jumps to the top of the family priority list. And I don't know about your wife, but if I was away from my husband for 3 months... I'd be horny as hell and would be playing Planes, Trains and Automobiles to get my ass home to him FOR some ass.
