Awwww..... he was my favorite guy on that show. Always be kinder than you feel.

I'm really sorry you're going through this. Sometimes it seems like fighting the system, a neighbor or anything really takes a lot of energy and time that could be better spent elsewhere. There's a documented medical response to your home that should justify some action on the town's part. I really hope you prevail in the meeting. Bad neighbors are a living hell. Always be kinder than you feel.

Ummm.... is this because I talk too much? Quite the contrary! You're keeping a lot of things hidden from the "who you'd like to bang" thread, but I figure there's loads more where that's coming from! OH! Yeah, I take my duty to the Bang Thread seriously. You couldn't beat the secrets out of me on that one! Unless, people give permission to tell. That's different. I'm a vault when it comes to not telling things when told. I think it was my years of knowing about search warrants, signing warrants for the arrests of people for some BAD things before they knew it was coming, and other big stuff going down that taught me the importance of discretion, trustworthiness and integrity.

That is a very sad story. Was the cause ever revealed? Always be kinder than you feel.

Target Stolen Customer Information - Anyone Here Get Hit?
LuckyMcSwervy replied to LuckyMcSwervy's topic in The Bonfire
I can promise I'll only pay cash in there again. It's a shame. The Target around here is pretty nice compared to the Piney redneck WalMart that's in my town. Always be kinder than you feel. -
Target Stolen Customer Information - Anyone Here Get Hit?
LuckyMcSwervy replied to LuckyMcSwervy's topic in The Bonfire
I told the chick on the phone at Target the email looked sketchy and there was some security concerns (as you mentioned before about the BF in the address). The braintrust on the other line had no idea what I was talking about. Whatever. Always be kinder than you feel. -

Target Stolen Customer Information - Anyone Here Get Hit?
LuckyMcSwervy replied to LuckyMcSwervy's topic in The Bonfire
Apparently, there's some spam emails going around but I received the real deal, unfortunately. Target verified the validity when I called the number on the back of an old credit card. Their verified Facebook page and the Target website addresses some of the spam emails. I have a f'ing headache from my bank. I have to go into the branch before they'll mail me a new card. Not happy since they know me and have been dealing with my family forever. The branch manager even recognized my voice when I called. Whatever. I should just be thankful I hadn't left my house and was on the road when I got the email because I would've stressed until Tuesday. Grrr... Always be kinder than you feel. -
Target Stolen Customer Information - Anyone Here Get Hit?
LuckyMcSwervy replied to LuckyMcSwervy's topic in The Bonfire
Just wondering if anyone here got hit by the people who stole Target's customers information? Just got a lovely little email from Target that my information was compromised. Totally messing up my well planned day. I didn't hear from them during the first round of breaches and I've been keeping an eye on my accounts by doing the usual password changes, modifying security questions, making sure my account alerts were current and added a couple of more spending limits where I need to be personally contacted before an approval goes through. Now I have to do a few pain in the ass phone calls with credit card companies. I already have the credit monitoring service they're offering for free. Oh well. Always be kinder than you feel. -

Glad to hear it is not serious. If you have any trouble medicating him there is a one time injection of antibiotics called Convenia, that lasts up to two weeks and actually works better than oral antibiotics. Is that antibiotic a first choice or a backup plan? I have a FIV+ kitty that gets sick once in a while. It would be nice to not have to fight her and stress her out more!

Holy Lord. Years ago, someone around here made a video of the MOVE fire in Philadelphia with that music in the background. Always be kinder than you feel.

Thanks, Lucky. It's been 25+ years, so it doesn't *burn* much. It's just that scanning pics wasn't an option at the time, and I've learned over those 25 years that as long as the loved ones are safe, nothing else matters much... until you wish you could see that picture of your mom on your 5th birthday again. You can eventually get back almost anything else. You're welcome. My mother has a bunch of family albums that I want but I doubt I'll ever see again in my life. I know the feeling of wanting to see those memories again. Always be kinder than you feel.

I will admit, the finger was funny. Actually, watching the video was funny, being in the video wouldn't be. If I had been punked like that I'm sure I'd be pissed!! Always be kinder than you feel.

Gold. Loved it. My favorite part? Giving the finger to the cop car. Always be kinder than you feel.

I had to Google that one but it is pretty funny!! Always be kinder than you feel.

Great news that it's something that should clear up!! Phew!! Send him some get well lovin' and chin scratches from me and Sophia Lucia!! MEOW! PS - Good luck if his antibiotics are pills. Hopefully it's the liquid stuff you squirt down his little throat. Thanks for the love!! He is getting lots of hugs & scratches :) And thank goodness they gave me the option between pills & liquid, because I chose liquid for that exact reason. Although, he's definitely on to me. Turned his nose up at the food I mixed it in with and also at the milk it was mixed with. So, I guess he prefers the hard way! Here are some tips on how to medicate your buddy. That's a classic. Love it!
