    Hi all, I am writing safety-related articles to educate my fellow jumpers in Iceland. The plan is to publish the articles on the IPA (Icelandic Parachute Association) website which is currently in development. Does anyone have any malfunction- or other safety related pictures I could publish with the articles? Anyone know of a good collection on the web? Photos of equipment failure or damage, ground or aerial photos... everything helps! Full credits will of course be displayed with all pictures used! Blue ones from the frozen chunk of ice in the North Atlantic

    True! I'm sure that some of my co-jumpers (which most aren't very current) would probably not even notice if I had the bridle mis-routed. Sometimes I think people simply look at my pin under the flap, without actually opening the pin cover completely. Once they see a small glimpse of my pin, they pat me on the shoulder stating that everything is OK! I can tolerate an annoyed co-jumper and hopefully cheer him up if I hurt his/her feelings in any way, but I have zero-tolerance for premature deployments and PC's in tow... --- P.     Thank's for the photos... I must add that I find it very difficult to believe that the reserve pin can be rotated 180° accidentally by hitting something. Agree? But whatever the reason for the pin being turned around, as posted earlier, it could have been easily prevented by a proper pincheck! --- P.     The suit is made by a very cool French Cananian girl named Nancy who lives in Deland. She worked for 2 major suit manufacturers here before going off on her own. I believe the people who have her suits are pleased with them, and her turn around on suits is about 2 weeks right now.     True! Disable the digital zoom feature. You could just as well resize the image in photoshop or some other image editing tool...     Hmmm... few seem to recognize IAF: 3 tandem jumps, 1st relaxed with no objectives, 2nd 90° turns and 3rd 360° turns. 6 solo jumps where one instructor accompanied me during freefall with harness hold during the first two if I remember correctly...     I was reading a thread related to skydiving videos which include fatalities and this question popped into my head: "If I happened to record a jump where someone died... what should I do with the tape?" A solo jump or a bigway, aerial or ground footage... I'm sure there are people out there who have been in this situation. I hope I'm not offending anyone with this subject... --- P.
