With 17 years in the USAF with about half of that working around nukes, I can say that if the US were to use nukes on Iraq, it would only be because they used chemical or bio weapons on us first or as a pre-emptive stike to prevent their use on us. Sarin, tabun, mustard gas, anthrax and whatever else Iraq may possess does some really nasty stuff to a body and it is an extremely long and painful way to die. Could it be sabre rattling? Sure it could be. But if I'm sitting in Gulf and we get gassed by Saddam, we sure as hell better show him that there is a severe price to pay. Just my 2 bits. Can't we all just go skydiving? Vance

I have a ton of stuff! Three ti leaf braclets (it's a hawaiian thing), blue pull up cord, a "Skydive" key ring from Square 1, a small wooden surfbaord from another key ring (surfing, my other passion) as well as a small plastic crawfish off of a beaded necklace (New Orleans, yeah baby). Still in the USAF, going on 17 years. Spent about half as an SP and the rest in Air Traffic Control. Been all over, seen lots of crazy shiat, met lots of cool people. As long as I'm having fun I'll hang out. Just sucks being 3 hours from a DZ! For you guys who haven't been in long, keep in mind that a military career ain't for everyone, but even with all the crap we do and put up with, the civilian side has some crazy crap to dish out too. If and when you decide to punch-out, have a plan I've action. Weigh all the pros and cons, benefits, etc..... I've seen a lot of young troops get out with nothing to fall back on, no job lined up, nada. Before long they're back at Mom and Dads house calling the recruiter to see if they can get back in. I tossed the idea around of getting out several times, but here I still am, having a ball and doing stuff that our civilian friends never have the opportunity to do. And when it comes down to it, I love this shit. Being part of the most kick ass Air Force in the world. Ain't nothing like a flight of B-1's kicking it down the runway, afterburners rocking. Yeah baby, who's ya daddy! Vance

3:2:0 3 never befores: Jumped at a Texas DZ after moving here a couple monthe ago (it's the rains fault); out of a tiny C182 (Been spolied, onlys Twin Otters and King Airs before); a hybrid attempt with 2 new jumping friends. 2 great jumps
