It must be a bitch trying to communicate in a second language sometimes. I think what you meant to say is your looking for an elliptical 9 cell with 7 cell charechteristics(sp). although you lost me on the steep glide part. Did you mean flat glide? Usually 7cell=steep glide, 9 cell=flat glide I really can't make a suggestion on that, but have you tried jumping a Spectre?

I double dog roid rage dare you to say that to his face

I don't think anyone really missed the message, Your coach instructor statement probably annoyed a few people and misdirected the focus of this post a tad. The quote is from Frank Herbert so I don't think I can stop you from using it, thats why I posted it anyway. I learned a long time ago 90 percent mental 10 percent physical

Yes .......especially since your not going to need to heat up the closing pin too much. Heat/melt the glass rod first then you can stick the pin in and shape the glass around it. My bud blows glass and was messing around with doing what your talking about, but it other things came up. If you want his email addy PM me and you can ask him all the questions you want.

What DT said pretty much summed it up. I'll add I used to have this memorized it's from Dune I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see it's path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.*** Between 9-10 grand I'd say that under my breath. Take 3 slow deep breaths in through the nose out the mouth, gear check, then practice pull and emergency procedures 3 times. A little bit of over kill but it made me a lot more comfortable and kept my mind in a positive mode.

....and there you have it not once, not, twice, but three times

What are the best 2005 sony PC side mount camcorders
Snowflake replied to shadowswoop97's topic in Photography and Video
All things being equal theres no way a one chip 690k actual video can compare to the 2048k actual video you get from the PC350. I'd pay the extra 300 bucks for the 350. The only difference between the HC42 and HC90 is that you get 3 megapixel stills which to me ain't worth it -
Mike, Sorry for your pain bro.

13 yo boy+hot teacher=sexual fantasies 13yogirl+hot teacher=romantic fanatasies I think thats part of what makes it seem all right a majority of guys(me included) will think you lucky bastard where was she when I was in school. While if the genders were reversed it's seen as abuse because it's taking advantage of those romantic fantasies. A few of my friends in high school had sex with much older women(no teachers, but still statutory rape) and believe me none of them was traumitized in the least bit. In fact if I remember correctly they were quite happy about it and not the least bit disappointed that there would be no romantic involvement. Me...........I was just jealous PS wouldn't it be "hard" for a female to rape a man/boy

Dave and Chuck we have a DVD that has the leader and titles on it we run that then dub the video on a linear board. My thought is that if you ran a batch capture and had it thrown in a template the time is even, but then you have to render and output. Also if you muff any cuts it'll screw the batch capture and you have to manually edit. One of these days I'll figure out how to make that horse talk.........maybe

Well I'm kinda slow and can't visualize what that accomplishes. I was gonna suggest a firewire hub, but I don't know if thats what you need or if it'll work We use a Phillips DVD burner and I'm not sure it'll do what you want.

Freeflyers can't play? Wazzup with that? No hybrids? I'm feeling slieghted "Conrad"

Yo.....love the content, don't really like the layout. I'd like the thumbs of your pics on a seperate page so they can be bigger and it would leave more room on the initial pages. IMHO the thumbs are to small and make the pages too busy use that room to expand the page and make a link to thumbs. I can't wait to see Radix Standard issue is one of my favs "Have a good jump Kirby" I love y'alls reaction..."Now it's working hahaha" You rock Peace out

who hopes the weather in texas will be better this weekend?
Snowflake replied to josheezammit's topic in The Bonfire
no we don't but I'm sure the chicken does -
Stand......tilt use the relative wind against your legs to "weedeat" around. A cartwheel from a sit is a waste of energy. Of course I can't fly headdown but I stayed in Holiday Inn last night
-
Douva maybe you should mention if she stays the 13th- the 20th she can go to SXSW and you can hook her up with some good shows plus jump a full weekend too

What do you mean by Do you mean you want two inputs or do you mean a device to dump to for someone else to edit? As far as buying a stand alone burner vs an internal dvd burner for your comp, if the main consideration is speed a stand alone is the way to go. I have to agree with Lew on this though. I've been trying to figure a way to make editing on a computer faster then with a board and I still haven't. In the time it takes to capture the footage to the comp you could almost be done on a linear board

Just a thought. Maybe consider a lower division that has 2 of the flyers in a sit position and maybe limit the number of jumps the sit flyers can have. My thinking is that this might encourage younger jumpers to stick with headup flying a little longer before going to head down. Also this would give the younger flyers exposure to skills they'll need later and positive reinforcement to attain a certain level of proficiency headup before going head down. This of course requires a certain level of skills from the head down (I say headdown but am only using it as a distinction not as a definition of their flying position). Like I said this is just a thought. I'm sure your hella busy trying to make this a reality, but when you do I think this might be a good way to plant seeds

My .02 drop the suit wear tights with a draggy long sleeve/sweatshirt. Don't worry about coach jumps right now concentrate on getting your body position worked out. Then do some coach jumps. you'll notice that on the first half of the hill your body position is pretty good(we'll skip relative wind direction for now), but you start to ball up for the rest of the dive (you were actually butt flying a lot of it especially the 360's). When you first start sit flying you have to think of it as a fight. Physics is trying to push you into an equilibrium state, which is on your ass or belly. Your mission is to kick physics ass and have control. The best way to do this in a sit is to fly "BIG". Upper body imagine your sitting in a chair oh you are . Now sit up straight arching your lower back a little and poking out your chest. This really helps with keeping your hips down. You know where your legs are supposed to be just do solo's until it's not a fight to keep them there. Then do some coach jumps. My anology for the above is snow skiing and slalom water skiing. In both the tendency when you start is to bend at the waist, which leaves you with the least control but feels more stable. In snow skiing you actually need to be leaning foreward to have the most control, but what's the position people take naturally? leaning back on their butt which equals very little control. Water skiing is the opposite control comes from leaning back from the waist up. Most people bend foreward from the waist when they start. IMHO coach jumps won't help till you fix body position and it's real hard to concentrate on your legs and pay attention to a coach at the same time in the beggining . Usually you'll tend to go to your most comfortable postion, which is the opposite of what your trying to do right now.

You really do love to hear the sound of your voice ......Ok I'll play I didn't say insulting someone in a PM was illegal. I suggested that instead of taking the chance of getting banned you could send them a PM like you did to me. I guess that wasn't clear enough for you. Ain't it a bitch when you actually have to use your brain? any thoughts I had of dropping you from my entertainment crew have been banished.....you just might get the headline slot .......Awesome stuff

Why not just send them an insulting PM like you just did to me.........oh wait that might require thinking
