Both STDs have frequently been in the news over the past several years. He absolutely should be expected to have known the difference less than two years ago. Any informed US citizen would have known the difference. I guess it depends on where you live. I worked as a clinician in the west central FL area and I do not recall ever seeing an article in the news about HPV. HIV was a daily concern but no one discussed HPV. You don’t recall a certain GOP candidate in 2008, days before winning the Iowa primary, announcing that the HPV vaccine can cause mental retardation in young girls?

I know it’s probably just me, but I hate when the media uses the term “Injured” as opposed to “Wounded” in school shootings. I thought there was an actual difference in those two words.
