Stay the course for another 4 years until we get a new POTUS.

I'm not wise in the way of computers, I just know I was about to spend $300 on EBAY for my long lost cruise book, and this site has them all. What do you mean by German?

This is a great site for ex Navy. Take a look at the time line From 1980. http://www.navysite.de/cvn/cv64.htm

And? I just got back from driving about 20 miles south of here to watch totality. Overall, I spent about $50 on gas, food, parking, etc; well worth it. Just as I walked back in the door & turned on the news, there was a clip of a local newswoman doing a tanden during the eclipse out at Pacific Northwest Skyding in Mulino, OR. The clip is not yet up on their website but should be after 5:30 PM west coast time: http://www.kptv.com/ Jerry Baumchen PS) Coming back north on the I-5 freeway, it took me over 2 hrs to go 15 miles. I wimped out.

The Navy is always running into things. While on board the USS Constellation, we ran into a freighter in the IO. It always amazed me how we could be underway at night with how dark the flight deck would get with no lights and no moon, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

The ghost town of Bodie is pretty cool. https://www.yelp.com/biz/bodie-state-historic-park-bodie

So I'm thinking of driving from San Jose to Oregon or Idaho to view the eclipse. My schedule allows me to drive up the day before. I'm wondering if anyone is considering this and how they plan on doing it? From what I read, viewing close to the coast has the risk of fog or overcast. Driving further inland, much smaller highways and predictions of bumper to bumper for hours. Any advice?

Have you ever chosen not to jump once at altitude? Why?

Because it would have been considered a night jump. -

102 shot, 15 fatally, in Chicago over July 4 holiday weekend
jclalor replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
Nope, the fact that its purpose is focused on race is evident from its name. I'd rate that as a pretty good clue. So any organization with (a) race being part of of the name defaults it to a racist organization? -
I think the destraction argument concerning new jumpers may be out dated. Youngsters today have grown up constantly videoing and being videotaped, I don't think they are nearly as distracting as some people think.

Just out of idol curiosity, what does Black Lives Matter have to do with Chicago shootings? -
I was just wondering if anyone knows if he ever taught AFF in California seven or eight years ago.

I'll never forget my first shot with a scope mounted on a .22, July fourth 1977, I figured with all the racket no one would notice me taking a shot out of my bedroom window. I had those crosshairs dead center on that full can of diet Dr Pepper about twenty yards away. I did neglect one small detail, the barrel of my gun was inside my windowsill. What a bang. I still have a small scar on my stomach.

I don't know if you have been paying attention to any of the "Anti-Trump" rallies, but I think it's pretty safe to say there is more than one crazy person out there.... I have been paying attention, and the fact of the matter is the vitriol now seen for Trump pales in comparison to what was shown to Obama. Where was all the criticism on the right when Bundy and his pals were drawing beads on federal officers? How many anti government militias have formed in the the last eight years? It's the rare occasion when a nut from the left does something like this. -

No Wonder the Dems Do Not Want Tighter Voter ID Laws!

The irony of the GOP being so sanctimonious on the voting process and possible voter fraud . Yet they seem not to give a flying fuck about Russian envolvmen in our voting. -
This just plays into the conservatives hands, it's been nice watching Trumps unceremonious plunge from grace, but this doesn't help. idiot Tea Billies hanging an effergy of Obama is one thing, Gifford should have know better.

I've looked at several pictures of him in dress uniform and I don't see any military medals/ribbons., so that's a moot point... but, I've never been a cop, so I'll let them speak to it. I have seen pics of NYPD wearing military "style" ribbons attached to their badge, but am pretty sure it's like the military. You don't wear what you weren't awarded. EDIT: Spelling No one is claiming that he wears military ribbons, but he wears different types of unawarded pins and medals that give the appearances of being awarded.
