Lets share some stories and photo of your skydiving family! My dad started jumping in the late 70s and met my mom while teaching her first jump course at PST arthur. Mom stopped jumping after 17 jumps. Thats after dad said she didn't have to jump if she just wanted to come to te DZ to see him I did my first jump (tandom) with my dad in 2007 at dunville. Then came back to edmonton and took the first jump course at edmonton skydive center where i continue to jump. I returned to ontario this summer for the Arthur PST reunion and did a 2 way with my dad (mostly spent trying to stay together and match fall rates) and my brother did his first tandom. He has since done 2 S/L jumps and plans to continue jumping. I have never seen my dad so proud as he was after jumping with my and my brother! and the fact that i landed way out while he made it back just gave him more to brag about!

Haha not until im sure the poice aren't looking for me Hahaha I ran into an old friend last night and we got to talking about this guy that put alot of effort into fucking me around. Although he was not successful in achieving his goals. I swore that I would get revenge for his ill will. So just imagin the fun we had in the middle of night after quite a few tequilla shots creating a nice surprise for this asshole to wake up to! Actualy when you look at protects website the skate helmets are not certified for anything specific and are only recommended for use when skateboarding. Yes. Im seriously looking for true head protection!!! I dont care in least if it looks retareded. One might end up looking a whole lot more retarded when they smash thier brain while wearing an insuffienceint helmet. Then they can spend the rest of thier life wearing a protect everytime they try to walk somewhere. just ask special ed!http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/images/reviews/190/1196650931_1.jpg I dont see how that make any difference at all. Slamming on a skateboard, or slamming on a landing are both scenarios where severe head injuries are possible. I have slammed my head very severly while skateboarding and walked away knowing the outcome would have been very different if I wasn't wearing a protect. Can you say the same about a benny? As said in my origional post I am looking for a helmet that offers the best protection against impact. Not what is going to make me look cool. So what kind of new and exciting sports have been created while the beer light is on? What kind of foolishness have you gotten yourself into while being rained out? At what point did you realize it would probobly be a good idea to wear a helmet? Some of my fav's creeper bowling beer bunjee off road body surfing! +1 Helmets have definatly helped decrease the amount of brain damage i have given myself over the years. If I have a cheaper helmet I'm more likely to use it on other occasions where i wouldn't want to mess up a $300 skydiving helmet. I think everyone knows I have more use for a helmet after the beer light comes on!!! Just wish i had a fullface mountain bike helmet on at PST this summer. maybe I wouldn't have wrecked my face while playing beer bunjee Have you seen my pants? it"s a rough life, Livin' the dream >:)

Hey all So I am starting to gear up and one of the things I am having the most diffuculty with is find a helmet. I went to a local bike shop today to check out helmets and all of the ones i looked at were the kind that do not have a hard ear flap. Therefor they have no place to install a ditter. Can anyone recommend a helmet that actually offer some kind of impact protection (unlike most skydiving helmets) that would offer decent protection from impact as well as be able to support the installation of an audible alti?
