The only thing I dont like about my curve is that when I have had a few drinks i seem to drop it a lot. But it still works so that is a plus... I have a friend of mine who, when he was shopping for a new blackberry a few years ago, the salesman told him that they were very tough and that you could drive a car over it in the driveway and it would still work. He promptly took his brand new pager out, and ran it over, just to see if he was bullshitting or not. It still worked! i just saw what happens to an IPhone when dropped. The thing shatters.. Why do you want a CB radio? If you're really interested in two way radio communication, get an amateur radio license. You might also check your state law on possession of a police radio. Most states won't allow you to have it in your car unless there is a specific purpose for it. The exemptions are defined in the state legislative code. In many states, an fcc licensed amateur radio operator is one of those exemptions. As for the installation ... there is an online forum called batlabs (http://www.batlabs.com) that has a wealth of that type of information. Most of it pertains to Motorola radio equipment, but there is also a lot of general information there.
