  1. I was thinking the exact same thing! If his cell-mate doesn't have or love black labs... hopefully he hates people who are cruel to animals... or is looking for a new "special friend." The possibilities are endless!
  2. I totally believe in "an eye for an eye." KICK HIS ASS!!! We have a black lab. When we leave her outside, sometimes she barks and it is a little irritating but guess what? When we let her in - SHE STOPS!!!!!! What a freaking MORON!!! I hope he gets the max penalty and gets a bit of an ass kickin' at some point. That'll teach a lesson!!
  3. WFFC - Just to let you know... I am stealing your "grading scale" to use for eBay. I think that's a great way to put it and I couldn't agree more!!
  4. I totally agree 100% with you. The only reason I would say neutral is if the buyer feels he has to leave feedback. Otherwise - negative it is. I always leave feedback as soon as I have received payment for the item, or the item I bought once it is inspected. If the buyer has received his feedback, then I say, give the seller negative!! He deserves it for his shitty customer service. If this isn't his "business" then he shouldn't be selling so much, like you said. I would like to know the name of the seller, just so I can go look at his feedback... and be sure to stay away from him! (PM it to me!! )
  5. I totally agree with you about treading lightly. Once the item is received, if feedback has been received, I still say give him negative feedback. He will get one chance to reply to the negative feedback. Then they buyer gets to reply to that one. If the buyer has not received feedback, then I would either leave neutral or none at all. I am fairly into the whole feedback thing (much more so than the "total posts" here ) and I like knowing how a buyer or seller has done in the past - as well as how people rate me as a buyer or seller. Unfortunately, not everyone cares so a lot of people just don't leave it or don't care what is said when it is left for them.
  6. You're not nice. Thanks for clearing that up for me... I wondered why I would get a read receipt from some people but not others. Now I know.
  7. I don't like that answer... can I have another one?
  8. You know, I said I had Outlook Express, but it must be Microsoft Outlook. I always get the names confused. So are you saying if I send something from my MO to someone on, say, AOL, and request a return receipt, I won't get one even if they did in fact read it?
  9. I just looked and I don't see anything in the email here at dz.com that will let me request a read receipt. I don't want to have to change my stuff just to have a receipt... but that's such a great idea that I'm thinking about it.
  10. That's a great idea. I have that set up on my Outlook, but I use my dropzone.com email address for my eBay stuff. Can you put a "Read Reciept Requested" on the email here?
  11. I totally agree with this, Rev! I don't send my payments until I have received something from the seller first. Who knows why this seller hasn't answered yet. Maybe he hasn't been able to get online. Maybe he's been very sick. It could be any number of possibilities. However... based on his previous feedback it sounds like he's just lazy. Once you get the item... I say give him negative feedback.
  12. As an eBay seller, I personally would expect to receive negative feedback if I did something like that. Granted, you goofed with the zip code, but like you said, if he would've answer your email then you could have told him. I voted to give him negative feedback. He deserves it. Maybe it will make him check his email more often.
  13. LMAO!! That's freaking hilarious!! At least the owner has a sense of humor and didn't hurt the poor guy.
  14. Chris, I'm so sorry for your loss. It sounds like your dad knew what he wanted and did things his way. He obviously didn't want you and the rest of his family and friends to watch him slowly die so he made it quick. Sending vibes and prayers your way.
  15. Ok fine... ruin my fantasty why don't ya!!
  16. It sounds like something that wouldn't work out that way the majority of the time. Actually, you know... it sounds like it should read: "Dear Penthouse, I never thought I would have a story worth writing to you about! I invited an old friend, who I hadn't seen in a while, and told her to bring a friend so she wouldn't be traveling alone. When they got to my apartment, we got to talking and found out that they were both bisexual but they had never been with eachother!!" Of course, you have to understand... I am in no way trying to downplay your fantasy!! It sounds good to me!!
  17. You were doing good there at first until you got to, "... and have them both be bisexual but have never played with each other." Now you're just creating a fantasy!!!
  18. I agree also. I list lots of stuff on eBay all the time and I won't put a reserve on it. I also don't bid on items with a reserve (unless I really want it). Usually... have a reserve on your auction is a turn off.
  19. OK... I should have known better than to ask without searching previous posts.
  20. Care to enlighten those of us who have never heard of g-mail?? Ok... maybe I'm the only one in the dark here, but I have no idea what it is.
  21. Travis and I were just walking the dog and wandered over to the swoop pond. About that time we got buzzed by a Cessna (172 maybe?)!!! We waited around... again, buzzed!! GOD!! It looked like it couldn't have been more than about 30 ft over our heads!! A few minutes later the plane lands and someone comes walking towards us. Travis said, "Hey man!! What are you doing?!?!?!?" (excited, not pissy) The guy says, "Taking you guys for a ride!" Travis stays on the ground with the camera and Roy and I go for a "ride." HOLY SHIT!!! We buzzed the pond, TWICE!! Swooped this way and that!!! YIPPPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEE!! Awesome... just fucking awesome!!!!!! Of course now I can't decide to throw up or... well nevermind.
  22. It's refreshing knowing a guy said that. I couldn't agree with you more. Between what he said here about "pounding vagina" and his other thread about "Different Kinds of Sex"... I shudder to think of his "sweet talk."
  23. Yes yes!! That's one!! Travis plays guitar... although I haven't heard him play since he doesn't have one. But just the thought of him playing... well... it makes me weak in the knees!
