    Yet when those that posted that things were fishy they got attacked for doubting the story.... No. The people who attacked Scott's mother's post got told unequivocally that she is, in fact, his mother. She didn't know anything about this, and there was no reason to focus on her. Edited to add: I don't think Matthew Park (usmc1775) had anything to do with it either, except as someone who is a friend of the family and was trying to help, so perhaps we can lay off the implied threats. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from.     I'd appreciate it if people would stop bumping this up. I made a mistake in posting here. I thought if anyone knew Scott's companions, they might be found more easily, but all this thread has done is led some posters to the base forum who have contributed nothing of substance except an attack on Scott's mother.     I've got about four or five right now, but the one that stays on my nightstand for when I need a comfort book is one of the Kushiel's Legacy trilogy. Sometimes, I just pick one up and start reading anywhere.
