We did that to this guy once cause he missed the dirt dive. He war rear rear float and we gave the count and he left. We waved at him Then gave the real count and exited. At about 6K i look over and there he is, floating his ass off coming in to the formation. He didn't think it was nearly as funny as we did. I don't think the photo is photoshopped. I think this is another example of the way the photo was taken. Much like the russion precision pilot pics yesterday or some of the blue angle photos we have seen posted here. It is a well known trick to make your fish look bigger in pics to hold it out in front of your body You can do the same with a deer. It is a little tougher to do that with a moose though so the hunter just positioned himself as far away from the camera as possible. Remster: Damn you i had to post in SC to argue my point. Dammit, i swore i would never post here but since this post got moved i guess i will. You post was very well written and i applaud you for your beliefs. Yes, hunting for the mere sport of it is horrible. Big game hunters that hunt merely for the trophy, absolutely disgust me. There are people who love to hunt for the trophy and also eat the meat that they take. I don't have a problem with them. Personally i enjoy being out in the woods, i hunt with my cameras much more than my guns. Sometimes i stalk deer just to see how close i can get, not to shoot, just to watch. I enjoy those things, i don't expect everyone else too. When i need some deer meat, i will shoot a few does or inferior bucks. The state says i can shoot five deer a year. No way i could eat that much so i take one or two a year. Game ranches: Yes, unfortunately canned hunts do/did take place. What you are seeing there is absolutely the minority. Most ranches very seriously maintain their herd and land to work in perfect unison. They have to, it is their livlihood. I have been to ranches where the meat is processed, packaged, and donated to local food banks if the hunter does not want it. (trophy hunters) I have also been to ranches where it was automatic that you only got the trophy and the rest was donated. I have also been to other ranches where i was only there to take does in order to bring the numbers down to a level that the land could support. I think we agree on many points and i apologize for posing the question of you being a pussy. You obviously are not.
