    This is exactly why I think people who are on the fence between doing a tandem or an AFF should do the AFF. I've never done a tandem, but I bet I would have psyched myself out if I had. Jumping right into the AFF, there was no opportunity to get a "taste," - I had to actually swallow. (No jokes you sick f*cks). If you forget something, it's probably not a big deal - the instructors are there to remind you. On the other hand, I don't think you should do it with a "can't do" attitude.     A theory is a theory because there is plenty of evidence that has not been refuted. You must be thinking of a hypothesis. And note it is the "Big Bang Theory," not the "Big Bang Hypothesis." There was this guy named Albert... The possibility of a "Wisdom" is not within the scope of science as there would be no way of proving it. Have you studied much science? It is amazing. Did you know that if I drove toward you at 150 mi/s and you drove toward me at 75 mi/s we would not be approaching each other at 225 mi/s? We'd actually be coming toward each other at only 170 mi/s!     Of course; it's scientifically accepted. If something dispels it tomorrow, then I won't believe it any more. That's the beauty of science - it constantly evolves based on available evidence. I'd casually ask him if the email was directed at you or if it was something he sent to everyone. Make your decision based on that.     I have to disagree with you humanflite. I did AFF for my first jump, and yes it was sensory overload, but I did it and loved it. I am very proud of that accomplishment. So far I am 2 for 2 with great standup landings (knock on wood). I know Leapinglizardto has already decided on tandem, and most people's recommendation has been to do that.
