    The Jameson Inn has said that they will not charge for extra occupants in their rooms. That means as long as we don't take advantage (10 or 15 people in 1 room), folks can save quite a bit. I would say 6 or 8 in a double room would be reasonable. This also means we have to play nicely at their hotel and not destroy it.

    We're fixing the shower situation so more than one lady can be in the bathroom at a time. Actually, when finished, one lady can be using the stall, one in the shower, and one at the sink.     Hey guys, no doubt we can get you all a ride to Thomaston from ATL, but getting back to the airport for the flight out on Sunday might be the chore. If you guys book a room at the Jameson, they won't complain about extra occupants. This should cut down some expense for you. You are more than welcome to crash in the loft and/or tandem packing area. We are going to try and have someone as a designated driver (possibly hired) to drive folks to the hotels late in the night after the party.     Saw "Dropzone", the greatest movie ever , when I was about 14. Left a big impression. When I was 23 I met some guys that had just come back from the World Freefall Convention. I was very quiet and rarely talked to anyone but I talked to one of the guys for an hour and a half about it. I made my first jump about 6 months later after finishing a big project.     You are welcome to jump with us at Skydive Atlanta! We jump Friday afternoon's, Saturday and Sunday. We have a Super King Air that gets to altitude in about 8 minutes. It's got working heat, since you'll be here during winter. We have a 15,000 sq ft hangar, big screen TV, and a really fun atmosphere. It's also 100 miles or more south of the northern Georgia DZ's.     Yes, we will have other organizers. Martin Skrzypczak from East Coast Freefly at Z-hills will be organizing as well as Jon and Baxter. And I'm sure Scotty will be organizing some RW again.     What Ian said is right, the Jameson is the nicest, the other 2 are cheaper. I am working on rates with Jameson for the event. Over in Barnesville, about 10 minutes in the other direction from Thomaston is the Sun Inn as well. Thomaston: Jameson 706-648-2232 Days Inn 706-648-9260 Best Western 706-648-2900 Barnesville: Sun Inn 770-358-1700 Thomaston has Super Walmart, Chili's, Home Depot, and anything else you might need. We will need extra packers, a rigger that wants to work during the day (someone always shows up out of date and usually several cutaways on Saturday), as well as plane loaders and manifest staff.
