Do what they like.. all it costs them is a little bad press and 200k. Maybe you should have read the entire article before responding?

Why was there a buoy sitting on top of the ice in the first picture? That seems pretty strange.

Politics: MSNBC: UK loves the royal baby because GOP economic policy has failed Published by: Robert Laurie on Thursday July 25th, 2013 By ROBERT LAURIE - Seriously. They're not even trying to make sense anymore. If you're a citizen of the United Kingdom, the odds are you're excited about the birth of His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. Not content to simply let the UK be a happy, proud nation, MSNBC wants you to know that the patriotism you're experiencing is the fault of Republicans in the United States. Specifically, it can be attributed to the "failed economic policies" of Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy. If you don't see the oh-so-obvious connection, we'll explain. MSNBC's Martin Bashir thinks that Brits are far more wrapped up in the royal birth than they normally would be. This is because the UK government has embarked on a supposedly destructive austerity program that - in Bahsir's mind - is ripped directly from the Ryan/McCarthy playbook. In short, GOP-esque policies have made the British people so miserable that they're looking for anything to lift their spirits. As Bashir puts it: “Everything that they espouse about economic theory applied in a recession has been applied in the United Kingdom. And what we’ve had in the United Kingdom is a near triple-dip recession. Part of the fascination with the royal baby has been because people have been so depressed by the economic circumstances in the United Kingdom that they’ve been looking up for some light relief.” Bashir went on to complain that America's economic woes would have been solved long ago, if only the GOP would let Barack Obama do what "he would have liked to have done." the MSNBC host failed to mention what, exactly, Obama wants to accomplish that he couldn't achieve when Democrats controlled the White House and both Houses of Congress. Bashir also managed to tie the miniscule US budget sequester into his rant, before insinuating that, had Prince George been born in America, he'd probably be dead. “In this country, we’ve had such a contentious fight over the Affordable Care Act and I was interested in looking at the facts about infant mortality in this country. The United States has one of the worst levels of infant mortality in the developed world. And to a large extent, that’s because women don’t have sufficient maternity care cover.” Of course, he neglected to mention that the Royal infant was born in a pricy private section of one of England's best hospitals. There, the royals received care that was far superior to the standard, sub-standard, HHS care afforded to the nation's "normal" populace. That's good news for the royal family, since a June 15th edition of the Telegraph indicated that HHS childbirth can be quite the nightmare. Many hospitals are over-capacity, maternity wards are turning women away, and laboring mothers have been forced to travel as much as 65 miles in order to find a facility with a vacancy. Units in some trusts are closing every other day as staff shortages and a lack of available beds prevent them from admitting new patients. With wards closing for periods of up to three days at a time, data obtained by The Telegraph suggests more than 1,700 women have been turned away over the past two years. Patients who went into labour faced the daunting decision of travelling up to 65 miles to the nearest ward with an available bed, or giving birth at home. We're sure none of the facts actually matter to anyone at MSNBC, but it's still amazing to see just how far the left will go to politicize virtually anything if it believes it can be used to attack a Republican.

And Kennedy-Nixon debates where those watching it on TV thought Kennedy won but those listening on the radio thought Nixon won.

Yes, lets sweep it back under the rug and pretend it doesn't exist. -

It's not illegal to be a racist. Look at Sharpton, NBPP etc. Government programs do not prevent racism as some would like to believe. -
so in other words, it isn't about standing up for a woman who has been wronged, it is about bashing political group you don't like. Correct. BTW...weren't you going to be leaving us? :) I checked... I still have altitude left.... I don't need to cut and run Yeah, we've heard that before.

Obama has taught them well Just wondering if it is in fact possible to have a discussion in SC that doesn't have the words "republican", "democrat", or anything related thereof. Sure, instead you can use RWC's, Conservatives, Liberals, Progressives, Wackos, Libtards, Repubicans etc. Did I miss any?

Disgraced ex-congressman Weiner says he's running for NYC mayor

It would have been a lot better if this weak minded pervert with poor impulse control issues had melted quietly back into the woodwork. -
That's my question as well. 1300 miles on a bagger is a "no-big-deal" two day ride for me on my Road Glide. I would not make that trip on my rigid-frame chopper though. I can pack ALL of my shit on my bagger no problem and have ridden it cross country four times to skydiving events. I don't stop and bullshit on road trips. I eat/shit/piss, and buy water/snacks for the next leg at gas stops. Chuck That's what I'm thinking. I just bought a new Street Glide and I really don't think it would be a problem on a Cruiser. Traded in my Fatboy but I would have made it with no problem on it either. Just don't overdo it. Wear plenty of sunscreen, stop every few hours and hydrate and stretch. Get a good nights sleep and eat right and things should be fine.

What bike is this old fart going to be riding?

I thought it was of note that nowhere in the article does CNN list him as a democrat. So where did you come up with the name for your post, then? Just a wild guess, but maybe he actually did some checking.

That will never happen as long as the radical left continues to throw down the race card every time Blacks are criticized for their behavior. The after effects of slavery do not justify the high rate of teen pregnancies and black men abandoning their children. But the radical left continues to defend this type of behavior.

I thought personal attacks were not allowed? Are "conservatives" persons? Trolling and repetitive questioning aren't allowed.Wrong, insulting posters, as you often do, is considered a Personal Attack. You just simply get a pass because of your political leanings. Everyone know that. Perhaps you have become so accustom to getting away with it, that you have forgotten it's against the forum rules?

St. Mary's Hospital is part of the National Health Service, run by a NHS Trust. Yes, but they have the Bentley Plan. Commoners cannot afford it.

How come he wasn't born in a government run hospital?

Hey now!! Blaming it on Reverse Vampires is out of line.

Yeah, the driver he saved was probably white or Hispanic. I doubt he would have tried to help a black guy. Likely he would have poured gasoline on him and struck a match if it was a black guy. HA. You don't pay attention do you? He would have shot him in self defense. DUH! Nope, Obama took his gun. Forced him to become an arsonist to continue his racist rampage to murder black people. He's Hispanic. He has several weapons left over from Fast and Furious. So technically Obama GAVE him weapons. There you go again with your racist profiling.
