Somebody just diagnosed half the nation with a psychological issue and I'm trying the fault in his thinking... God forbid... And no I accept a persons beliefs but I can not be forced to respect them. People are free to believe whatever they want, just as I am free to believe that they are deluded... Well, at least your thinking is on topic for this thread.

I'll also add that a lot of the people I observe coming and going in fast food restaurants are students, soccer moms and office workers. I don't see too many Lexus's, Mercedes, and upper line BMW's parked there. Mainly older cars and Mommy vans. I wonder how much economic impact a $12.00 combo will have on them? Perhaps they will just start bringing their lunch.

Isn't one part of the whole process accepting that you have no power over your own addiction? Don't get me wrong I'm trying to understand the rational. No you aren't. You are trying to find something to attack him about and call him a hypocrite in regards to an inconsistency in his belief. I really don't understand why people can't just accept others for they way they are, including respect for whatever beliefs work for them.

Based on the comparisons you're making, I think you're missing the point of the complaints about the "libtards" and "RWC" (right-wing conservative) language. Being polarized on individual issues of religion, gun control, etc. is one thing. Opinions and assholes, as they say. But being polarized on "liberal vs. conservative" doesn't even make sense because that's not an issue. It's a random collection of stances on assorted issues that people make up in their head about what the person they're arguing with thinks. It's not "black and white" it's "color A and color B" and the two people yelling at each other aren't even talking about the same two colors. I think you are missing the undertone of all Republicans are pro-gun, all Republicans are religious zealots, all Republicans are (fill in blank).

Here's where things stand.

No, not any more. In the beginning I was angered by the disrespect but now I find them amusing. Greater is He that is within me then he that is in world, as the Scripture states. I hold the winning ticket. Yeah, well, I think those who don't like the stereotyping of Libtards and RWC's (I still don't know what that means) might want to expand their thinking a little as quite a few have been polarized on other topics such as religion, guns etc.

How about the French? They hate us, so do many Germans. Don't you read these forums and all the US bashing that goes on? Don't even get me started on the Kiwi's.

Call the Police. Someone has stolen Quade's computer.

1) You've made an assumption not in evidence. You assume a number of American lives MUST be lost. Clearly that isn't the actual case considering the US stand-off capabilities. Nope, you are the one making assumptions. I only asked how many YOU were willing to forfeit. One, two, a thousand? It was a question, not a statement. 2) You've additionally assumed that if we saved the lives of people who "generally hate us" they would continue to do so. It's entirely possible they would stop hating us and see we've saved them from a pretty horrible death. Hard to say definitively either way, but I'm not the one automatically making the assumption -- you are. Yes, the way the Iraqi's just love us. How about the Haitians? Why don't you make a trip down there where you can feel the love they have for Americans.

How many American lives are you willing to forfeit so we can protect people who generally hate us?

How about Atheist vs Christian? Don't those threads just frost you?

Big difference between "100% bias free" and deliberately using misleading and fabricated data to advocate a position while lying about the credentials of the authors. This "study" is garbage. You mean like they do with Global Warming?

Who did you vote for in the last election?

I may be in favor of "punishing those responsible" but I disagree that "WE" should be the ones doing the punishing. Yes, the UN should impose sanctions and demand Assad give up his WMDs.

And then another and then another. I do hope that if Obama makes the decision to react, that he makes sure it was Assad and not Al Qaeda, Hamas or Iran baiting us. I also hope the Community Organizer in him recognizes that any response puts us in alliance with Al Qaeda. The enemy of my enemy.

I spent 2 weeks in Syria in 08, as with most other places in the world, they really seemed to love Americans, but not the American Goverment. It's good to see that they are all "getting" what they deserve. If there's one thing I could never stand, it was a a three year old anti American extremist. Enough is enough, Syrians are killing Syrians and we can't stand by and do nothing. We need to kill Syrians to stop Syrians from killing Syrians, but don't worry because we'll use different weapons to the Syrians who are killing Syrians to kill our Syrians thereby reclaiming the moral high ground... Genius! +1. They will not stop until their lust for blood has been fulfilled. Intervening will only prolong that lust. Maybe after they kill a few hundred thousand more of each other, they will weary and decide to take a more peaceful path. I wouldn't count on this ending anytime soon. In the meantime, expect gasoline prices to go up dramatically and the Stock market to take a major hit.
-
I really don't give a shit. The Syrians don't like Americans. If they want to kill each other, let them. The only thing the U.S and our allies should guard against is the chemical weapons falling into the hands of Hamas or Al Qaeda or one of the other psychopathic groups. Fuck all of them, they are getting what they deserve and I don't care.

Hey, here's an idea for you. Why don't you and all the other whiners go to a secret website that nobody else knows about and then you can have your non-biased discussions with each other without the rest of us having to listen to you whine and demand this site be changed to satisfy you. Freakin liberals...always want everyone else to cater to them.
-
Nope, I put "seize scary guns" so left wingers will read it.
-
I think he answered you question very well. Whether you want to accept the truth is another issue.

And it seems the US wasn't bothered about that during the Iran/Iraq war: http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2013/08/25/secret_cia_files_prove_america_helped_saddam_as_he_gassed_iran Yeah. And let's see where Assas got his stuff. Anybody want to fancy a guess that it came from the neighbor to the east? It will be interesting to know what chemical was used and what the shelf life is.

How can you be sure that if chemical weapons have been used, that it was the Assad government? It could have been the MB, Hamas or even Al Qaeda or some other group.
-
Sit back and savor the moment, it appears I was momentarily wrong. Of course the highly political group Doctors Without Borders has witnessed hundreds of dead and dying from a neuro agent. We also "knew" Saddam had chemical weapons because we sold them to him. It's also very likely that they were destroyed during Desert Shield. I don't doubt that Syria has them nor do I have much doubt they used them recently. I just couldn't resist taking a poke at you. For the record, I hope we don't get involved at all. Both side hate us and I really don't care anymore.
