Here's his latest interview as of last year, he still blames the instructors. Also, this video edited out the part of him pulling the cutaway handle..... This one is worse than the original and pissed me off, not so much the skydiving part, but the fact that he is really a dishonest man who is definately making money off this shit. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xaoka4_skydiver-loses-chute-hits-powerline_shortfilms What's his email address again? Just kidding, I really don't give a shit about the guy.

Go to Skydive Orange. I went to their Boogie last year and had an awesome time. Recently settled down (again) in the DC area and will be going all the time, in fact, I went this weekend for a currency jump and filled out the membership application. If you need a ride this coming weekend let me know.

My opinion is, as long as you like it and it is safe, go to the cheaper DZ...which in this case is the larger one. You have to think long term... Either go the more expensive DZ that you like more and in the long run jump less due to limited $$$ or go the cheaper DZ that is still good to go with cool people and jump more cause you have more $$$ to spend on tickets, gear, beer, etc... How much more expensive is it? Only you can make that choice. Keep your interest in mind, not the DZO's or your buddies'.

TV show host gets death sentence for 'sorcery'.
lost_n_confuzd replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
Another "justified" punishment? King Abdullah should be assassinated. While we're at it let's take out Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong Il. -
How to annoy a crappy roommate, I need ideas!
lost_n_confuzd replied to GQ_jumper's topic in The Bonfire
Next time he's gone for a couple days take multiple shits in his toilet, don't flush. Piss on his shirts then throw then in the dryer and put 'em back where you found them. Same applies for his skivvies.....works great at PT. And his pillow. Clear saran wrap over his toilet. Bust a nut in his toothpaste container. Lock the dog in his room....dog will do the rest. -
Done, can you please translate the article, I'm really interested in reading it.

How did you get his email address? Don't post it here, I'm just curious as to how you found it. Lutz is a douche ("they don't train me for losing my chute") but I have not been able to find anything online mentioning him trying to sue the DZ, etc... Did he try to sue the DZ?

My only visit to SO was during their '09 Orange Boogie. I had an awesome time, everyone was welcoming and fun to be around and jump with. I found the place to be VERY safe, everyone was safety oriented and no afraid to point out a mistake or bad move. Unfortunately I've been busy with work and travel the past few months and could not jump. Anyways, now that I'm back in D.C. I plan on jumping again and will definately be at SO this weekend.

Is there Life Insurance
lost_n_confuzd replied to cloudclimr's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I just got 250k Universal Life Insurance (good for the rest of my life) for 157 per month. Premium will always stay the same and I have skydiving and other "high risk" activities included in. My stats: Male, 27, non-smoker, great health. Edit: At a young age it is best to go ahead and get Universal life.....or some sort of lifelong policy. By the time your term life insurance is up you will be older and any rates you get for future life insurance will be much higher than they are now. Edit: The 250k policy is an extra policy, my primary is through my employer. -
I met a guy through a friend at a sushi dinner (20 + people there) who was telling everyone that he used to parachute to fight forrest fires, I was really interested until he mentioned how they would fly their chutes feet above the fire to create lift from the heat until they found a good landing area. He also used to "shoot up" after pulling the ripcord. Edit: fixed a word

I've never had an interview for a U.S passport. Got my first one on '02. Is this a new thing.

Different look on skydiving - Pureskydive.com
lost_n_confuzd replied to darklow's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I like the layout of your website; simple (not too flashy or gawky), loads of info, headliners, etc... Nice work! -
Maybe you can ask a mod to add "SPOILER" to the thread title. I still wonder if the video footage and interviews are legit. Pretty weird shit...

I saw the movie a few weeks ago and started looking into Dr. Tyler and a lot of what was mentioned in the movie and found much of it to be bullshit. Other than a few "recordings" there are no documents, police reports, etc... to back up or support the movie or the story the movie is based on. If someone knows otherwise, please post it. Edit: I still like the movie.

The first episode was great! Just like I did with Band of Brothers, I'll probably watch it every week and then have a Pacific Marathon at the end.

skydiving history museum
lost_n_confuzd replied to downtoearth's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Good point, heavydude. I live in Northern, Va where the museum is supposed to be built. Other than DC, where all the cool shit is at, I doubt it would get as much attention as we would like. Look at the Marine Corps Museum. It was built next to Quantico Marine Corps Base and other than Marines (old and new) and a few occassional visitors, the place stays dry most of the time. They really should have built that place closer to DC if not in it, the museum is amazing. People come to DC to visit DC, not shit 45 min (3 hours in traffic) away. I'm sure it will do OK, but I doubt whuffos would go that far out of their way anyways to see a skydiving museum. Edit: I'll still support it. Having the museum closer to DC may be unrealistic and would probably cost MUCH more. -

Arkansas Cop Tasers 10-Year-Old Girl
lost_n_confuzd replied to virgin-burner's topic in Speakers Corner
The 10 yr old kicked a police office in the groin. That's assulat, on a police officer to top it off. Too many emotions running high in this situation. Perhaps he thought the family would have joined in to defend the 10 year old if he tried to physically restrain her. I think in this case the girl being tazed was justified, but can't say for certain without for information on what all went on. -
Making fun of skydivers who died
lost_n_confuzd replied to captain1976's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Bill Cosby? Ghost dad's a good movie I don't see anything wrong with notching up the fire truck. I've seen worse. Like someone else said, apparatnly there's more notches than deaths, so its probably skydivers in trees or routine calls to the DZ, or maybe a combination of all three. -
Skyride's Gay Skydiving Advert
lost_n_confuzd replied to NovaTTT's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Looks like he's whackin' it. -
But Paul, it’s a movie about the end of the world. You have to let them do some whacky stuff. Pop quiz!, is it worth watching at the cinema? Or should I wait for it on redbox?

is it reasonable to train for a marathon in 16 weeks?
lost_n_confuzd replied to TrophyHusband's topic in The Bonfire
Train? Who needs training? In 2003 a friend convinced me to run the Naha Marathon in Okinawa, I was already in good shape, but have never been much of a runner and usually ran about 5 miles about 3 times a week, nothing close to what I should have been training for. Anyways, I forgot about the marathon until the morning of when he was pounding on my door. With a hangover from hell I threw on some shorts and a shirt, didn't take a shower (I was stinking up a storm) and grabbed some band-aids at a family mart to cover my nipples. 5h 57m 23s....2 min from the 6 hour deadline! But I made it! It is pretty sad when old Japanese people who have never ran a day in their life are flying past me wearing bunny costumes.
