I'm all over that I have one brand new in the box raft and another just like it inflated and upside down in my pool to hold the cover up in the middle. I'll bring em both. I've tried for years to do a successful raft dive got maybe half a dozen attempts. and some funny stories. but I want to be on one that works i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . well to be fair i bought it used from a non skydiver a few years ago and i put less than a dozen jumps on it. and it's kinda been sitting in a closet since.. but thanks for the info about the pre EOS lenses i wasn't sure about that i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . thanks for the reply. I don't jump it anymore and haven't much at all. someone was asking about buying it. and i hadn't even thought about what to ask. the extra long lens isn't an expensive model i don't think. a quantaray? so somewhere either side of $300 should be fair i guess. the guy thinking about buying it is a whoofo hunting buddy that says he has a few old cannon lens from a 35 mm film camera he used to have that he thinks would fit it. and i guess all cannon lens are standard no? i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . I do know that no drogue terminal with two guys in the 210/220 lb range is scary fast. at over 250 myself w/o gear I've been the horse for a bunch of rodeo's once did a rodeo with a 210 lb guy on my back. it got scarry fast. and even thought I spent a good 13 14 seconds after he got off trying my best to slow down the the opening was still shall we say brisk. and a bit painfull. I wish i'd had my neptune back then i'd like to know what we got up to. i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. so a gently used cannon rebel xti with rubber armor, 18-55 kit lens and a spare 75-300 lens what's it worth? I'm thinking got to be well over a 100 bucks but prob not more than 300 bucks am i in the ballpark? i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. hey gary. i was jumping dave verner's old northern lights cont. at sparta back in the early 90's it had a cordura throw out on a belly band. and the elastic around the mouth was a little worn. doing a 4 way we broke high so someone could play with a new canopy. at breakoff i rolled on my back a shot a bird a everyone for pulling high. held it for several sec. and when i went back to my belly had a preeme.. I'm sure glad it didn't go off my left side and wrap me in the deployment. could of happened real easy. i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. I love FTCKY. Where you going? 5SFG? Skydive Alabama in Cullman is a few hours away but worth the drive. . deff a + 1 I started skydiving at ft. campbell in 1979 I now live in nashville also skydive east tenn. has a pac 750 ... all winter from what i hear haven't got over there yet but i need to. i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . I have a whole bunch of jumps on an xl cloud and a old school taffeta nylon true strato cloud plus cloud lites. but never jumped a dc5. the stories I've heard about them. i didn't miss much. but that IS 2nd hand info what's your take on the DC5 ? ? i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . yeah it was one of the few times i've caught something intresting and skydiving related on t.v. and was somewhere i couldn't tivo it. and was unable to ever find it again while at home to rec it. anyone know where to get it i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . isn't their prog the one that they go thru an intensive training . then the 1st jump is a solo 10 sec on a rig with an aad on the main and reserve? I saw some video of there 1st jumps students exiting. it was shall we say entertaining i have on occasion been accused of pulling low . My response. HEY SHAY! it's keith we were jumping together over halloween the footage of the three way with me , you and pete turned out sweet. i just made your dvd and can't find the slip of paper with your snail mail address I know it's in this house somewhere but thought this might be easier pm me with your addy. and i'll get this video right to ya after turkey day ps on super slow mo for a split sec we do get the 3 way h/d, sit , belly dock i have on occasion been accused of pulling low .
