I thought were speaking of Clay, I darn near crapped my pants... -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

I think the Wings is great for FF. No bridle is exposed, pin covers haven't come open once, riser cover tucktabs stay tucked until you don't want them to be, legpads have an easy to tie together loop (although my articulated harness fits so well I don't think I need them). Overall, I think it's awesome -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

At our DZ we have to wait until the sunset load takes off. Which is a big relief after flying all day, I usually don't crack it open until I make the power reduction at 500' though. j/k

Awesome idea.. I have a VHS tape that I've wanted to get on DVD for a year, but I never got the motivation to see how to do it. -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

Hrm, I never was told anything about what to do afterwords. After the first one, I just flew back to the DZ and barely made it back. The DZ manager drove me out in a truck to find it (I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find), and luckily the people at the airport were really nice, and a retired cropduster took a pleasure flight checking the fields from air and pointing it out to us. After the second one, I just headed for the landing area b/c the main/freebag landed 5' from manifest (still in the bag, glad that didn't hit anybody). Since the second one I decided to try hooking, riserdiving, whatever to catch the freebag with my leg (if I had to chop at an appropriate altitude). Something I really hadn't thought about until it happened. Thanks for posting this Ann. -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

0:7:2 Woo hoo, finally got my priorities straight and jumped more than I had been. I think the other pilot was a bit upset about this, but F-him, I needed it, and had a great weekend as a result. 1.) 1st stable sustained headdown, OMG what a feeling of accomplishment. Was trying to do a leglocked 2-way sit with somebody who has never done FF, but it wasn't planned out that well, and she chickened out and tried solo sit (I recovered to sit, tracked when had good separation, then got my headdown working (Froggy). 2.) 1st (attempted) 4-way freefly. lauched a 2-way belly, 2 others docked, then tried a Horny Gorrilla, but it funneled, I recovered to sit and it turned into an improv dive. Fun anyway, bringing my local RW-only dz to the darkside. (Muahaha) -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

Thanks, I was thinking of downsizing/going to a light taper in the future (probably in around 50 or so jumps), I think I'm having second thoughts now (all these 'firsts' have caused me to put on 10 pounds), guess I'll have to wait and see and demo. -- Words I hate: Streamer, Horseshoe, Baglock...

Agreed, V.cool, now if only we could figure out a way to get them installed at the major DZ's (for stuff to do during, wx holds, packing, partying, etc) and a way to keep us geeks from fighting for them, we would be in business.

Muahahaha, thanks for the advice, I've been diverdrivin (TM DiverDriver) just about full time for the past few weeks, so this, in addition to the "NO FARTING" sticker that I purchased tonight (much needed after last weeks incident with a family who does not deny drinking more than a 12-pack of Budwiser per night, a piece), will give me a little extra 'fun' for this weekend. Actually I plan to do a MINIMUM of four jumps, one being a lawndart sitfly with somebody who has only done RW since she started (hehehe, bringing her to the darkside), plus my second plan of the (180/backflip)² - 2-way for my "B" license. And then, I can do my night jumps next weekend.

I never tagged you a whuffo, don't go bowling just b/c of shit said here. The great thing about skydiving is the abililty to F-up royally, come back, and do it again right. I came Oh-So-Close to giving up because I had to cutaway two jumps in a row. Not because of fear or anything, (I love to cutaway, brought the adrenaline back from that first jump, but then again, I'm a psychopath), but because I was tired of taking shit from one jumper (ALT). But, I stayed around, doing a few jumps per weekend, (but mostly flying skydivers, being part of the crowd, and seeing what I was missing). Now I'm back to my full-strength self, not being able to go 2-3 days without thinking of a grand way to quit my job by opening the door and saying, F-you, I quit, and then jumping... BTW, I am 80 - 90 % sure this is how I'm going to submit my resignation, and my boss typically has me flying over Immokalee (SkyDive Naples) and Clewiston (Air Adventures) on the way to his second office, so keep track of the news.

Hey, thats a good idea. The quality might suck, its just that free one that you get when you sign up for Earthlink, but hey. I wonder if it would be a horrible idea to take it (in hand while jumping? -- My poor rig, all alone with no main...

I learned this lesson when I was on student status.. One of the girls was being kinda flirty, then got asking how old I was and the tone changed... Doh. Then after I learned this lesson I applied it one time and claimed a different age, she didn't believe me and asked what year I was born.. "Uhm, hold on a second..."

Altitude chamber is very valuable, I remember when I did it for my high altitude sign off they gave me a test where I wrote my name over and over again. I thought I was doing fine, then they told me to put the mask on and look at my writing.. Went from looking like an orangatang on crack (my normal handwriting) to uhm, well, much worse at any rate. -- My poor rig, all alone with no main...

First we state that Girls require Time and Money > Girls = Time x Money As we all know, Time is Money > Time = Money Therefore: > Girls = Money x Money = Money² Because "Money is the root of all evil" > Money = Evil^½ Therefore > Girls = (Evil^½)² And we are arrive at the conclusion: > Girls = Evil
