Well I had to get up at 3:45 am go to a park run half the miles in the dark only hopeing the fellow in front of me knew what he was doing. At 9 miles I thought it was only 6 miles. It was actually 9 mlies wow!!! 3 more to go. Steep hills every .5 a mile The group helps pull you through, misery loves company. Im actually excited about the 15 miler and happy about the little 10 miler we will do this Sat.at 6:05. 10 miles what an easy day. ( compared to 12 anyway) Im only doing 11:00 min.miles ,but let me tell you it is FAST!

I did it whoo!!!! hooo!!!!! 12 miles in 2:30. only 14.2 more to go. Now remember after the marathon Im going back to my old place. Spaceland in Houston, to jump on the same day in which I finish the marathon. A marathon and a jump in one day, to start the one jump of hopefully more to come under my new Triathlon 150 No pink. Red , blue and yellow.

ignore them and play it cool or be very sweet and worship them. The money thing depends on the girl, most of us are looking for true love and not just money however do not get in a relationship and start buying a girl everything because she will begin to expect it from you all of the time. I can't speak for myself because Im weird but I can say: I liked (before I was married) a guy that was down to earth and did not try to impress me too much.You never know where or what type of person you may end up with. I fell inlove with the opposite "type" of person that I never thought I would end up with. Im glad I did though.

I think we look better as we get older because we know ourselves better and know what looks best for us instead of trying the latest hair do or fad we just do what we know we need when we are older. The older we are , we tend to be more health conscience and will most likely be fitter at lets say 30 than at 20. When you feel better, you look better. Being healthy has tons to do with looks , I believe from my own experience anyway.

Thanks for all of the advice. I do know the importance of drinking and eating. Actually I have a fuel belt. I will have 4 6oz. drinks, two water, in one a sports drink and in one a Coke. Yes I said Coke! Im also putting some M&M's in my pocket for the 18 mile mark. I have been known to get low blood sugar and the sugar will rescue me if or when I need it.

I am being brave Im posting. Anyway, Im trying to train for the Houston Marathon which is of course 26.2 miles. The most I have ran so far ( with a long build up) is 10 miles. I felt like I had run 100 miles after I was done. Have any of you ever done a marathon? I have heard of the walk 1 min. run 5 min. method too, that some people do in the first half.
