I landed safe. This feild was a bitch to walk through (it is the field in back of the trees and there is a small old bridge to cross over) That is not a fun place to land. I had lots of cuts. The twigs I was walking over were up to my ass and I of course did not want to tear my rig so the canopy was above my head. But Im ok.

At breakoff time, do a half-cartwheel into a dive and ride it out like you were going down a water slide on your belly. *** Again this is all gonna take a few solo jumps or jumping with one other person showing me this stuff. If someone is above you when you cork, *** This is why I will not go out to sit fly with more then myself or one person until Im damm sure I know what to do and what Im doing. I have only tried twice. I did cork, BIG TIME. but there was no one with us to be above me and I kept looking everywhere to make sure above my head. How can one practice safely? If Im going out to try a sit alone and I do end up on my belly?. I guess like you said . Do not get on my belly until close to pull time.

I do not get it. I like most everyone at both DZ's I jump. People need to talk to a person and get to know them before they decide they do not like someone. Im always willing to make a new friend.

BFD. If you walk in with a smile on your face about the great jump you had, then you take most of the wind out of their sails. Now THAT'S fun! *** I did have a great jump! First sit fly attempt.

Actually I did do that on my first I think. I got out toward the tail with my feet in the door and my arm extended in the wind. He got out behind me and I gave the count. I tryed to exit in a sit with him behind me. He held me with his feet for a while( and did a fine job) On the second jump we did the same thing. when we let go it was because we were in a wicked spin or something as I launched away from him I was in a wicked spin which I stoped.

I also want to make sure my buddy (if I have exited with one) is in my horizontal view before I go into a full sit. I have to see them in a angle. IF they are right under me I have to get them back in a angle view. I do not know how to back track without getting back on my belly. It was a wild ride I loved it. I was ALWAYS very aware even though I was not too stable as I was trying to get in that sit fly

When I land off I have good reasons . I always have my head on a snivel, making sure we are all safe including those who question my skills or laugh at me.

I was upside down and turned around on the whole dive. I finally got in a sit for a couple of Seconds and I was getting closer to my buddy. WOW!!!!! I was humming. I never in my whole skydiving life had such a blast. I was upside down (on my back ) I knew it was normal because I was trying to get in a sit. I was still checking alt. as I was on my back

I landed off at my DZ this weekend. I landed off before a long time ago and I have not landed off at the other DZ I jump at so far. Some people laugh and make remarks about me when I land off. I was under 1000ft and no where near my DZ for a set up for final I had not cleared some trees that line the DZ. I choose to land off because I knew for sure that the feild underneath my feet was ok and clear to land I KNEW I would be ok if I landed there. As for trying to make it back to my DZ I was not too sure. So I stayed above an alternative landing area. It was a bitch to walk in and I hated that but I did WALK away and those who make fun of me for landing off need to save the snikering for those jumpers who try to make it back and end up getting hurt because they turn low to avoid a tree or land in a tree or whatever . I know it is safer to be in the landing area. However: Golden Rules...... Remember golden rule # 1 and #2.

Cessna 182. Skydive Spaceland July 7 2000. I was the only one on the plane with my JM (Hook) and the video guy. I was just very quiet. I went to jump with my (then) boyfriend (all his idea). We broke up and I finished and got my license he did 2 tandems and never went back. I liked my first tandem skydive jump it was quite peaceful for me. Yes I had fear of the unknown but I was also excited about the fact that I was actually going to dive out of a plane. I was so pumped and I was scared of course........but I wanted it. I checked my alti (alot) and did my wave off @ 6000 and reached back to pull, however I think Hook helped a little.

Where does one by the cleaning aid for the cuttaway cable, what is the name of the spray. Is W-D40 ok to use?? Whats good maintenance for the cuttaway system as well??? Anything I missing??
