I'm in Raeford for one week, and looking to head to The Farm or Arizona for a week afterwards... Any recommendations as to which? Just looking to jump and party. Open to other suggestions as well??? Dates are 7 to 13 March.

Anyone have any reccomendation for car hire in Raeford? I need one for nine days and some of the big hire car companies (Avis, Budget) are charging me and arm and a leg for being 24.

I'm working in West Africa and cannot access the website at all directly. It says "You don't have permission to access / on this server." I assume this is because of the Nigerian IP address our server uses? Although I'm based in Ghana. Even surfing on a Proxy there are also issues with my email address being invalid when I contact anyone regarding a classified ad (namely the cobalt 120 for sale I want to get my hands on) Is there any way to fix this up? I can continue with the Proxy for access to the website but if possible could the classifieds email address issue be fixed? I've tried my work emai, hotmail, and gmail to no avail..... Peds

I've jumped the Safire 1 at 1.6 and I loved it. Much nicer than a Sabre2. They are faster, have a longer recovery arc, and I call bullshit on the earlier poster who said it has a weak flare. The flare is much lower in the control stroke versus a PD canopy. But I found it had more than enough bottom end to shut down on a no wind day.

I did my first jump in 2002 and jumped at the Australian DZ mentioned, still using a Kap - 3 on the main and Cypres on the reserve. Seemed like a less than stellar idea then, and even moreso now. -
Yeah but the French are pussies. Years of nothing but cheese and surrendering have made you blind to the fact that pulling at 2.5k is fine.

I have lots of free time at night here for the next year so I figure between abusing myself and drinking gin I wanna sew a canopy. Its been a goal of mine ever since meeting a guy who built his first square, and did his first square jumps on his own canopy.... Im pretty sure the Wally Gubbins videos need to be revived. Pure gold.

Howdy, I saw a thread I havent been able to find again about an old "build-your-own" canopy kit with a detailed instruction booklet. Just wondering if anyone knows where I would be able to find one? I'm looking to build myself a very large square 7 cell (see 300 sq ft) for a bit of fun. Anyone with reccomendations on a suitable sewing machine? (doesnt need to be harness capable) And is paragear the only source of F-111? Cheers

So your impression is that only the 107's and smaller are real comp CF canopies? How do they fly loaded at 2.2?
