  1. My brother went through that, too. He'd said all his life that he didn't want children, He went to the family Dr. and told him that, and told him that he wanted a vasectomy. My family Dr. told him to wait, to see if that really was his choice. That statement, told to my brother when he was about your age and knowing the idential things you know, prevented my brother from having a vasectomy. I have two neices and a nephew now, thanks to my family Dr,s wisdom and foresight. Ciels- Michele I've never met your brother Michele but I have met the complex creature known as Calvin. I can tell you he is living a very different life than your brother is living. I do believe him in all that he says and I don't think these things will mellow when he is in his 30's or 40's. He has some dreams to live out and they are going to be a tuff match for any family situation.
  2. Yup me too, cuz just like you, I'm an old guy too. Show them other teams that treachery that we bring just like in the saying about old guys Bill.

  5. I've never thrown up in any plane whatsoever its attitude. Which led My sailing buddies to target me for a good pukeing, I made them work for it but they finaly got me.
  6. Nice pictures costyn. I love the depth.
  7. right.. and if you dont update it, it's meanlingless Its still meaningless. I personally know guys with over 300 wingsuit jumps that can barely exit and fly stable, yet I have seen 120 jump inexperienced, instructorless nuggets nail their first exit and fly efficiently, navigate accurately and deploy safely on a borrowed less than perfect fitting suit ....... without so much as reading the manual. I'm not glorifying or recommending this to anyone. Just making a point that numbers may not be best source reference to judge someones capability or experience.
  8. Tom Savini has been doin this stuff since I was twelve and I'm not one of the younger guys on the DZ. Do you think he could be one of the undead? Can wait to see this!
  9. Remember the guy with body surfer webbies when he jumped his GTI at Rantoul 03? Dave wasn't it?
  10. QuoteYeah I'd recommend getting it. If you're ever in trouble, for instance low under your reserve and finding yourself having to land downwind (for example), it's nice to be able to get that leg wing off quickly. Yeah, it's a bit of a stretch, the scenario, reply] Its not a stretch, it happened to me. I wasn't low on a reserve I was just just transfixed watching my gear and some puke pull his car over to snatch it that I forgot to finish unzipping until a few hundred feet. LQRS to the rescue. The guy saw me run after my gear and decided to leave it alone.
  11. Simply put, V2 rules the world! bsbd! Yuri. I don't know about the world but it is very popular in the western US. Still waiting for mine.
  12. ........... and looking a graphs I fly on average at 35-38mph for at least 10 to 15 seconds. Holy shit, are you geeking the software??? And you guys pick on Zach?!? Thats weak, Later dhaweeb.
  13. It's a very dynamic environment. Nice!! I didn't know Tony was based there.
  14. You know I can't be serious for more than 30 seconds....... But seriously where are you watching suits being sewn up, rigging repairs a plenty? Or is there a new manufacturer ( prototyper ) in town? No agenda just curious......27,28,29........Times up and back to foolery.
  15. How much extra for mylar? You can make it into an S-3s
  16. Just don't leave us all in the dust.
  17. Anybody know who is doing Tony suit demos in SoCal?
  18. I'm not sure I will have it by then. They are swamped with orders.
  19. edit: o yeah and Glen/VectorBoy's strange S3 prototype with backvents, which was about the most exhausting suit I've flown (my theory was that it was leaking air from the backvents, but Glen says its not so.
  20. Not a good analogy. Lots of people out there don't have the money for multiple suits, so many of them choose to get the most HP suit that they can. Yes, I totally agree that the Phantom (a fantastic suit, particularly with the Acro top vent option) is a better flocking suit. It doesn't matter that the Vampire series was not "designed for flocking"; that's what most people who own them do with them. Robert makes fantastic suits. I doubt he is pissed off that three of us on one dropzone simply don't like one model. Chuck The Phantom is phantastic. Its got great range. The phantom owners in Moab were absolutely killing it. Some would say its great for beginners all the way to tapping into the range of the S-3. Add the Phacro option and its a hell of a deal for all around flying. There are few V-1s available in the classifieds they are a fantastic bargain. You are right Chuck, Not that I can speak for him but there is a lot of Robert's product moving out west, so why sweat it.
  21. I jumped Jason's and found it both floaty and flappy (I could not make the legwing extension stop flapping). That is the results most flyers have on it, except for Jason. I have refused offerings to fly it. Jason must be stopped somebody has got to stomp that boy.
  22. What three miles??????!!!!!! Dude I would be skateboarding it at 3 miles.... Shame shame.
  23. Componets~ shmoments, show us your mad scientist garage laboratory!
  24. Classic 1-2, S-3 prototype, Production S-3, Matter 2, S-fly and Phoenix-fly Acro. I love them all. V-2 comming.
  25. Silly statement. The difference is more like a 152 compared to a 182. I dissagree, the difference is more like a 152 and a pressurized 210 with oxygen and a built in storm scope.
